I did a couple searches for this topic on VNNF and couldn't come up with anything.

My computer seems to have a life of its own sometimes. At the moment, the animated avatars and emoticons are not moving. This is the second time that they have stopped working. I am not sure what is causing the problem and what causes it to automatically fix itself. I have run the gamut of what I can think of to correct the situation but to no avail. I have cleared the cache, enabled the "play animations" in the internet properties, installed flash and java, etc. Anyone have any knowledge of this phenomenon and its remedy?

The Mozilla Firefox browser helped me.

Anything Microsoft won't allow animations for some reason even if I go into the settings to allow it.

As for the animations, as soon as I was told to use Firefox, my animations not playing have never been a problem.

For other than cache, history, cookies, internet options, internal settings and server speed, I can't think of anything else. :confused:
