Women are paying as much as $12,000 to redesign their genitalia

By Suzette Laboy
Associated Press

These days, there's a plastic surgery procedure to renovate and rejuvenate just about anything. Botox for your wrinkles. Collagen for your lips. Silicon for your breasts. And now women are paying big bucks — as much as $12,000 — to make their privates look and feel like new. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons does not compile data on the procedure, but Dr. Leroy Young, chairman of the group's Emerging Trends Taskforce, said there has been a significant demand because of a "literal explosion of Web sites" about it.

Designer Laser Vaginoplasty allows women to literally design their own vaginas, according to the Designer Laser Vaginal Institute of South Florida.

"Today people are beginning to realize the female genitalia has beauty and has ugliness," says Dr. Cesare A. O. Di Rocco, a gynecologist/obstetrician in the Miami area who has been performing these procedures since 1990. "I'm empowering women."

Of course, not all women find it empowering.

"It's kind of strange. I could understand for bladder control, but cosmetic?" says Elcy Barrios of Miami when asked what she thought about tightening her vagina.

Young, of the plastic surgery taskforce, said he's concerned that women seeking labial reduction are comparing themselves to what they see in Playboy — with no good sense of what their anatomy is supposed to look like.

"At first we thought this was a nonissue," Young said. "Not many people wanted or needed it. I think we were wrong about it."

He finds tightening surgeries ethically problematic: "That's usually a woman doing something that has not as much of a benefit for her as for the husband."

Risks for the surgery include bleeding, infection and a bad reaction to anesthesia, said Dr. Edward Jacobson, a gynecologist who practices in Greenwich, Conn., and consults in London.

"Specific for this surgery, clearly the concern is either being made too tight or — even worse — not being made tight enough," Jacobson said. "There's always potential damage to the adjacent organs," including the bladder and rectum.

If there are no complications, the operation, which takes about an hour or so, is practically bloodless and leaves only minor discomfort.

After six weeks, the patient can become sexually active again.

Women who have gone under the knife swear by the vaginal makeover.

"It looks like you're 16 again," says Sonia Valdez of Miami. The 36-year-old mother of two told Rocco that she "just wanted to change it." Valdez, who had her vaginal rejuvenation surgery done last February at a cost of about $8,000, describes it as a "trim" and "fix."

Cristina D'Agostino, a 22-year-old waitress, went to Rocco to have vaginal-repair surgery after giving birth to her daughter. Now, she says, "it's tighter and more supportive. Muscles work a little bit better."

Sheesh, there's no end to vanity, is there? What's next, plastic surgery to make your feet look younger?

If these women had been regularly working their kegels to begin with, they wouldn't have to worry about being *tight enough*.

If a woman knows her own body, she could command certain muscles around the vagina to cause it to duplicate the action of a clasping fistYes that's true and the exercises are simple too and take but a few minutes a day.

But the larger question is-- does VNNF really need this kind of faggot filth talk? What on earth will the legions of morphing racist soccer moms think?

The following 4 paragraphs should answer most of your questions and concerns regarding Vaginal Cosmetic Surgery.
Please feel free to call me personally for any additional information.

Labiaplasty costs $ 5000. Vaginoplasty costs $ 6000. If you need both, the price is $ 10000.
Hymenoplasty costs $ 3500. We are a $ 200 plane flight from anywhere in the continental U.S. Our surgery center is 10 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport. I do 4 -5 cases a day on women from all over the world. Because so many of my patients are from out of state, my office is very skilled at assisting you with travel and surgery plans.

I suspect if a lot of these women weren't going around hopping into bed with anything that moves their privates wouldn't resemble a badly made Arby's roast beef sandwich. This surgery is without a doubt one of the stupidest and most useless ones to be invented. I'd wager 99% of guys don't give a shit what it looks like, however some women might benefit from the re-tightening of it. But like Pixi said, they could do kegels and probably get an even better effect. Insane.

actually this is not an exclusively American body mod. Africans are known to use astringent to dry the natural secretions up and thus make it tighter. Or so I have read. To me that sounds utterly disgusting, but I also understand that they bathe in cow urine at times and smoke fermented dung called "jekem."

Let me say this to you men out there who may be so foolish to think that bearing children ruins sex with a women. That is not so.

It changes it, yes. But, for a healthy woman who has not had some major trauma, it does not ruin it whatsoever in terms of feeling. Especially as Pixi says "if they do their Kegels." [kegel exercises]

What childbirth does to affect the sex life of a couple is mostly just related to the increased demands on time and patience which a little one makes. That is a blessed burden however and if you pull your weight with taking care of the little ones it will definitely help your sex life. Don't expect a woman who's completely exhausted from chores, work, school, and baby-entertaining, to put out like before.

With heirs of the body, comes lots of changes, but a good mating team will learn to work together.

Finally, I would add that having conceived you then appreciate the awesome metaphysical power of the conjugal act, and that certainly changes it as well-- it becomes a far more profound union, at every such event, not just procreative occasions.

LOL.........so true.....kegels are so important to a woman's vaginal health that I do believe they ought to be taught at the HS level health studies. :)........ya know those little old ladies who complain about "leakage" when they sneeze or cough?....they didn't do their kegels. ;)

AE summed up rather nicely what affects the changes in a married couples sex life after child birth.......the physical changes are minute and the trade off is well worth it. Children are just about the best thing that can happen to a committed couple.

I do recall (and we are going back almost 2 decades) being worried about it though......that I would feel differently to my husband......I recall that after I was healed and we finally were able to resume sexual activity...honest to goodness, I felt like a virgin (not in body, but in mind) and was very insecure about......so right there in the middle of it, I asked him if it felt different...he knew that I was insecure about it, smiled and said, "No....do I feel any different to you......I was a little worried about that myself?" ....to which I replied, "Nooooooooooo!!" :) My loving and considerate husband took the onus off of me and suggested that he wouldn't be happy if HE felt "smaller" to me. I never gave it another thought after that and have been loving that man to pieces ever since. :)

Are you asking for real? Don't you know, women can talk about anything and everything to the smallest detail. Never been to a 'hen' party have ya?
We have no shame in that regard, just life to us. This is the mating section, not gen. diss. I find no problem with it. KLM does use slang, furburger, geez hadn't heard that since the 80's, but so do I sometimes.

I remember the first time hearing about the vagina tuck, The Godfather. One of the women characters had the large hole problem, that is why she went after Sonny, he had a large one, fit the bill for her.

I think one of the problems for some of the older women is that they were never told about their kegels, and so didn't know how to keep them in shape. Once you know what they are and how to take care of them, it's a piece of cake... you can work them anywhere... sitting in class, driving down the road, while you're at work.... It's not like aerobics, where you've got to set aside time and change into workout clothes. :D

I don't mean to put a dent in Albion's art racket. But, none of you female Whites or anonymously others have mentioned the teething of a breast-fed child influencing the dimensional restauration of the vagina. The elderly leakers among you have also been ignorant of this fact. In other words, breast feed your offspring, gals. Otherwise, you'll have to end up travelling on Incontinental Airlines on your future vacations

elderly leakers? Oh my, breast pads and nursing bras, you have keen interest in women ways, KLM. Yes, that strange trend to bottle feed the baby on birth does consequences to both mom and babe.

Those aren't the kind of leakers I intended on adressing. Those nursing bras- and pads are called into action for a short period of time, of course. I was referring to the irreperable damage caused by not taking vaginal precautions earlier in life. This is nature's way of reminding someone that they messed up royal.
Men mess up too. But, the circumstances for male incontinence are totally of a different initiate than that of women. To discuss that here would be to go off-topic :D

Oh, man! Since we are going down THIS road, I was told over and over by a freind of mine that you should stick your finger in your ear before sticking it into the "affected area". If she has an STD, she will jump because the earwax would be painful.

I watched a show on PBS about something similar to this that they practice in North Africa where it is taboo for a woman to get married and not be a virgin. They do the "procedure" to make the woman as if she never had sex before.

I have only leaked breast milk, thank goodness. ;)

It has to do with the prostate gland enlarging and competing for Lebensraum with the bladder. The unfortunate circumstance of being excluded from good sex at regular intervals causes this

Yeah, unfortunately, weight gain is one of the not so thrilling side effects of pregnancy. I only gained 30 lbs with both of mine, but that's quite a bit on a 5'3" frame. I HATED that part. :) Some women are lucky, for me, it just kinda fell off within the first year after each one......we had 6 years inbetween pregnancies too.....I think it's probably more difficult for a women who has several babies within a short period of time.

In any case......my sweet husband never said two words to me about my weight.....I'd stand there naked all the time in front of him and ask him, "DO YOU THINK I'M FAT.....<sniff, sniff>".....he either lied to me or just didn't care, 'cause he always said, "No baby..you look beautiful". :) Most guys worth keeping aren't shallow enough to blast their wives over the short term weight gain as a result of pregnancy.

....and regarding the "mouth"......any woman who sass's her husband simply doesn't respect him......it's not love, a sense of committment, kids or anything else that will hold a marriage together long-term.......it's respect......and that goes both ways.

.......and KLM, if that was a nudge at my budding reputation for having a "mouth" out here.....I can tell you, my husband knows that if he died tomorrow I'd be alright without him.....no one would get anything by me and his boys are in good hands. It's not my "mouth" that he appreciates.....it's the mind behind it and that's how he sees it. ;)
