here is a tip. If you are typing out long messages, FIRST make sure you have your cookies turned on. What I mean by this, is log in and have the "remember me" button clicked. Elsewhise, you may get logged out while you are typing and have to log in again and lose the long message.

Also, if you use Firefox or Safari, you should be able to use the back button to get back to your message so that you can copy/paste it into a window once you've relogged in.

I have been able to do that with IE in such circumstances but only if I hit back at least 3 times in immediate quick succession. Otherwise, it gets lost.
