NEW BEDFORD, Mass. - The attacker hid his weapons in a hooded sweatshirt as he strode into a popular gay tavern known for its quiet atmosphere and trouble-free customers.

The young man flashed an apparently fake ID, the bartender said, and calmly ordered a drink, asking if he was at a gay bar. Told that he was, he attacked the patrons with a hatchet and handgun, sending three men to the hospital early Thursday, one with critical injuries. :cheers:

Authorities in this historic seaport searched for Jacob D. Robida, 18, who was charged in an arrest warrant with assault, attempted murder and civil-rights violations.

According to court papers attached to the warrant, Robida’s mother told police he came home around 1 a.m., bleeding from the head, then left again. Officers who searched his bedroom found what they described as “Nazi regalia” and anti-Semitic writings on the wall, the police affidavit said. It said Robida was recognized by a woman in the bar.

“Obviously, we have a man who’s dangerous, who’s not rational, and he has weapons,” said Bristol District Attorney Paul Walsh Jr.

The bartender at Puzzles Lounge told The Associated Press the assailant walked in around midnight and drank a rum on the rocks. He ordered another and walked to the back of the bar, where two men were playing pool.

The attacker shoved one of the men to the ground, then pulled a hatchet from his sweatshirt and began swinging it at the man’s head, said the bartender, who asked to be identified only by his first name, Phillip, because of concerns about his own safety while the gunman is at large.

The second pool player intervened, swinging at the assailant with his pool cue, but the attacker fended him off, the bartender said.

Several other patrons tried to stop him, and he was knocked off his feet, sending the hatchet flying, Phillip said.

The attacker then pulled out the handgun and shot one man, according to the bartender. He fired another bullet into the chest of a patron who was leaving the bathroom.

“He was shooting at everyone,” Phillip said.

The attacker shoved the bartender before leaving the building and running up the street, he said.

Police arrived moments later, finding the hatchet on the barroom floor and a knife lying on the ground outside, though it was apparently never used in the attack.

Court documents said a woman in the bar recognized Robida as a current or former student at New Bedford High School. School officials declined to confirm whether Robida was enrolled there.

Attended boot camp-like program
He was also known to New Bedford police because he graduated in 2001 from the city’s Junior Police Academy, according to acting Police Chief David Provencher. The “boot camp” program is designed to teach discipline to 12- to 14-year-olds, many of whom are referred by juvenile courts or social services agencies.

Robida’s mother, Stephanie Oliver, declined to comment Thursday through a family friend who answered the door at their home.

The wounded men were identified by police as Robert Perry of Dartmouth, Alex Taylor of Fairhaven and Luis Rosado of New Bedford.

One has a gunshot wound to the chest, another a gunshot wound to the back and severe cuts to his face, and a third suffered multiple cuts, police said. They would not specify which man suffered which injuries.

All three victims remained hospitalized. Police said one was in critical condition but would not say which man.

Puzzles is popular with New Bedford’s gay community and is listed on several Web sites offering resources to gays and lesbians. Police said they rarely respond to reports of trouble there.

“If all the bars in the city were that quiet, we’d be great,” police Capt. Richard Spirlet said.

Teen Fires Handgun in Gay Bar, Wounding Three

A teenager armed with a hatchet and handgun opened fire inside a gay bar early Thursday, wounding at least three people in what police are investigating as a hate crime.

A bartender at Puzzles Lounge told The Associated Press that the young man, dressed all in black, ordered a drink and asked if Puzzles was a gay bar. He finished his drink shortly after midnight, ordered another, then started attacking people, the bartender said. Three were hospitalized Thursday.

Police were searching for 18-year-old Jacob D. Robida, Police Capt. Richard Spirlet said. An arrest warrant sought to charge Robida with assault, attempted murder and civil-rights violations.

The jews and the homo activists and others just love stories like this. The Jews get to play the evil Nazi card while the homos can cry about the homophobia that led to this. And what does this guy get? a prison sentence. Not a positive thing for anyone accept those whom the story benefits. And it is not us.

I don't really get the whole anti-homo kick. It is true that an unbalanced proportion of jews, especially kikes with money and political power, like to sodomize young men, perhaps to feel powerful, but my belief is that homosexuality is a mental disease, and not really so much a political force.

Of course, there are other circumstances involved here. Would the kid really have done this if he hadn't been abused by one or more homos when he was a child? Even though homos talk about pedophilia as having nothing to do with homosexuality, I feel it safe to say that same-sex pedophilia is simply a twisted off shoot of homosexuality, the way pedophilia between a male and female is a twisted off shoot of normal sexuality.

Maybe I'm wrong because I haven't really seen homos causing trouble for me overtly, but I'm surprised homos are being targeted. I think there is always more to these stories than "hate". The reason a person vandalizes a sinagogue or burns a cross on a Black's lawn is not the same reason someone would attack homos, unless they had been victimized by some in the past. On the other hand, many homos DO keep their problems to themselves, and do not prey on children.
So on the flip side, this is like a feminist shooting a bunch of strange men because a particular man in the past abused her.

I used to be a lot more anti-homosexual than I am now. The ones that I hate are mostly the loud mouth proud to be queer ones that want to change society to fit their agenda. If a couple of guys want to screw each other and not throw it in everyone's face, I don't really give a shit about them or what they do with each other.

Pedophila does tend to be more prominant among homos, though.

It seems homosexual men are often extremely feminine, and different than other boys and men, even from the time they are children. Which strongly indicates that they may have been born that way. Look at the obove-mentioned comedian--he was funny but after a while you'll see it's just a constant angry sneer and cynical sarcastic put-downs. They're very unhappy people.

The other thing I've noticed is that a lot of these destructive bastards will try to throw a wrench in a heterosexual relationship if they can. If they know a normal straight couple they may try to derail it if they don't approve.

Two die in capture of teen suspected in gay bar attack
Gassville, Feb 5 (AP): A teenager suspected of a hatchet-and-gun attack in a Massachusetts gay bar shot and killed a small-town police officer before he was critically wounded in a gun battle with police, authorities said.

The teen's female passenger was also killed in the shootout yesterday.

Local police said the suspect shot her. State police, also involved in the shooting, are declining to confirm that, saying that tests will determine who shot her.

After Thursday's hatchet-and-gun attack at Puzzles Lounge in New Bedford, Mass., which injured three people, police said the 18-year-old fled in a green Pontiac and picked up Jennifer Rena Bailey, at her Charleston, W. Va., home.

"Apparently she's had a prior relationship with this guy and had been corresponding with him," said West Virginia State Police Sgt. C.J. Ellyson.

They were driving through the northern Arkansas town of Gassville when Officer Jim Sell pulled them over for a traffic stop. The teen twice shot Sell, 56, said Massachusetts prosecutor Paul Walsh Jr.

Witness Maryann Hoyne said she saw the officer's squad car bumper to bumper with Robida's car, and heard three gunshots. Sell was on the ground and Robida got back into his car and drove off, she said.

Sell returned a moment later to retrieve his gun, which he had left at the side of the officer, said Hoyne, manager of the Brass Door Motel in Gassville.

About 25 miles away, Robida drove over spike strips set out by state troopers and drove with two punctured tires into downtown Norfork. Robida's car then careened into several parked vehicles to avoid a police barricade.

"When he wrecked he started firing at our officer and a state police officer, and the officers returned fire," said Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery.

One victim of the Massachusetts attack — which police have called a hate crime — said he was "elated" the teen had been apprehended.

"Right now I'd like him to be able to regain consciousness and answer some questions," said Bob Perry, who was released from a Boston hospital Friday. He had a black eye, a five-inch gash on his right cheek and a bullet hole in his back.

Another victim remained hospitalized, and officials would not disclose the location of the third. Police said Robida would be charged with attempted murder, assault and civil rights violations in the attack.

"He came in and everybody looked at him because hes never been there before. I was with a friend of mine and we looked at each other and thought that he was in the wrong place because a lot of people dont know if its a gay bar or not. But even after he asked the bartender if it was gay he stayed. He didn't even talk to anybody... he just started attacking. I saw good friends of mine have their heads and faces cut with a hatchet and then he started shooting everybody. All the people in the bar were screaming and crying asking him to stop but the more we all tried to stop him the more fuel it added to his fire and he never stopped until there was nobody left to go after because people either ran or lie on the floor dying. I am not trying to say that he is a bad person or minimize his friendships with any of you, but what happened that night was not fair to anyone. It was scarier than any horror movie that you could ever watch. I just hope that if it was because he hated gay people that his friends dont feel the same way, or at least not as strong about it as he did. I just hope that if any of you do feel as strongly as he did about it that you pay attention to just how all of this ended and think about it. You can have your opinion of whoever you want about whatever you want, but don't go out there and do something stupid that does not change anything. People are not gay because they want to be, they just don't choose it... who would choose to live in fear that he might come back or that someone else might come. Who would choose to be laying in a hospital bed fighting to live... If any of you really are close to jake then you will know the pain you feel about him fighting to live.... this is what everybody at the bar is feeling right now too and it is not fair to us or you. Please do not follow in his footsteps. Never forget your friend, but don't be like him."

I had to got to a hospital ER last night. This hospital is in the very center of a very affluent section of a city in the midwest. Guess what? THE ER WAS FULL OF MUDS! The room had about 200 people, and at least 100 were little brown stubbies.

GASSVILLE, Ark. — Two days after a violent rampage at a gay bar in Massachusetts, authorities said the teen suspect fled 1,500 miles to Arkansas where he fatally shot a police officer and a 33-year-old woman.

Jacob D. Robida, a high school dropout who friends said glorified Naziism, was shot twice in the head in a gun battle with police Saturday, officials said. He was critically injured.

After Thursday's hatchet-and-gun attack at Puzzles Lounge in New Bedford, Mass., which injured three people, police said the 18-year-old fled in a green Pontiac and picked up Jennifer Rena Bailey, at her Charleston, W. Va., home.

"Apparently she's had a prior relationship with this guy and had been corresponding with him," said West Virginia State Police Sgt. C.J. Ellyson.

They were driving through the northern Arkansas town of Gassville when Officer Jim Sell pulled them over for a traffic stop. The teen twice shot Sell, 56, said Massachusetts prosecutor Paul Walsh Jr.

Witness Maryann Hoyne said she saw the officer's squad car bumper to bumper with Robida's car, and heard three gunshots. Sell was on the ground and Robida got back into his car and drove off, she said.

Robida returned a moment later to retrieve his gun, which he had left at the side of the officer, said Hoyne, manager of the Brass Door Motel in Gassville.

About 25 miles away, Robida drove over spike strips set out by state troopers and drove with two punctured tires into downtown Norfork. Robida's car then careened into several parked vehicles to avoid a police barricade.

"When he wrecked he started firing at our officer and a state police officer, and the officers returned fire," said Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery.

The teen shot the woman in the car with him before he was wounded in the shootout with police, Walsh said. State police wouldn't confirm Walsh's account and said ballistics tests would determine how the woman died.

Robida was taken to a Springfield, Mo., hospital, according to Arkansas State Police spokesman Bill Sadler.

One victim of the Massachusetts attack — which police have called a hate crime — said he was "elated" the teen had been apprehended.

"Right now I'd like him to be able to regain consciousness and answer some questions," said Bob Perry, who was released from a Boston hospital Friday. He had a black eye, a five-inch gash on his right cheek and a bullet hole in his back.

Another victim remained hospitalized, and officials would not disclose the location of the third. Police said Robida would be charged with attempted murder, assault and civil rights violations in the attack.

The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) was included in the COBRA legislation of 1986. Yes, I've seen negress sows in the ER with their kids who simply have a cold or a slight fever, and no other symptoms. This is because they know they won't have to pay the bill, and they can save the $10 co pay that their medicare requires for a regular PCP visit. I've been there with my daughter who was being administered emergency nebulizer treatment in the intake room because she had an allergic reaction that caused an asthma attack so severe it wouldn't attentuate with albuterol alone, while some retarded nigger bitch barges in demanding more Tylenol because LaShwaniqua still seems to have a fever. And I'm sure it's worse in other states that don't have mandatory, universal medicare coverage for minors without private health insurance. I think only Arkansas and a few other states have that.
