Sweeping anti-abortion laws proposed

Legislators in at least five states are proposing bold anti-abortion measures as the Bush administration reshapes the U.S. Supreme Court, a report said.
With the goal of challenging the Roe vs. Wade ruling that ensured a woman's right to an abortion, lawmakers in Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, South Dakota and Tennessee propose banning all abortions except when the woman's life is in danger, Stateline.org reported.
If enacted, legal experts said the laws would be the first absolute abortion bans since the landmark 1973 ruling.
However, some abortion foes worry that state bans could backfire especially since five pro-Roe justices remain in the Supreme Court.

"....propose banning all abortions except when the woman's life is in danger"

Who gets to decide this? A doctor? Several doctors? A committee? The government? What consitutes in danger? Pre-eclampsia? A stroke? Perhaps cancer? Physical danger or psychological?

I'm all for stricter rules for abortion, since we know abortions will not cease..whether they become illegal or not. But if abortion becomes outlawed...people better prepare for higher do-it-yourself abortions and the deaths resulting. And the states that outlaw abortions need to come up with better adoption agencies/drop off laws (Safe Haven...I think 35 states have that law now? Where the mother can drop off an infant 72 hours old or younger at a hospital or firestation or polica station and not face any criminal charges).

I used to think that if abortions were made illegal, women would resort to the old "coat hanger" method, or to having abortions performed by incompetent *doctors*. I no longer think this is the case.

Now that the RU-486 and morning-after pills exist, I think that if abortions were made illegal, these pills would simply end up on the black market. The same is likely should oral contraceptives be outlawed.

Regardless one's feelings about abortion, this creates an opportunity. Point out to the Christians in those states that abortion is worse than the holocaust in number of kills (30 million up in USA alone, 50 million A YEAR worldwide), at least should be in their view.

The whole issue is complicated by the presence among us of blacks and browns whom we don't want reproducing any faster than they already are. More generally, I support abortion for eugenic reasons as well as in cases of incest or rape and not just "life in danger" scenarios which, as observed, could be twisted to be either too strict or too lenient.

Why should RU-486 qualify as abortion? It's just a medicine that prevents pregnancy, isn't it?

No, I believe it causes the woman to have a miscarriage. Makes ya bleed everything out. It can be dangerous.

Free mandatory abortions should be offered/demanded for ALL NONWHITES.

There should be ten thousand bill boards in every American city offering $10,000 to every nonwhite female who will have a voluntarily abortion.

Even at the cost of having white females taking advantage of this offer, the result of nonwhite population diminishing in ANY WAY, is always a positive result for all of humanity.

Personally,I'd pay a higher tax, special premiums or even offer to volunteer to do it myself, to assist the nonwhite parasites of earth, to dismantle their breeding strangle hold on white culture, society and humanity.

You ,want a free ,all expense paid, ultra modern, efficient, clean, subsidized, pain free, guaranteed abortion ;Yolanda.Waneta,Yin,Tyrannize and Little brown elf;fantastic;I'll send the limo over immediately. :D

FREE Abortion clinics For all non whites should be as prevalent as gas stations and 7-11's.

I believe you're thinking of the "morning after" pill.

The medication "mifepristone" was developed in France by Dr. Etienne-Emile Baulieu in 1980. He found a method of preventing a woman's body from producing a hormone that sustains early pregnancy. The pill is widely know as "RU-486" throughout North America. The letters is taken from the initials of the pharmaceutical company Roussel-Uclaf. The "486" is an arbitrary lab serial number. 1 It was first introduced in France, where it is called Mifegyne®. It has been used, in combination with prostaglandin medication, to induce abortions in about 500,000 women over the last two decades.

http://www.ru486facts.org/index.cfm?page=whatis

Definition:
RU-486 is the name commonly used for an artificial steroid that blocks progesterone, a hormone needed to continue a pregnancy.2

Other names for RU-486:
Mifepristone is the generic name for RU-486. In the U.S., RU-486 is sold under the brand names Mifeprex® and Early Option®.

Note: An RU-486 abortion involves two drugs
When taken alone, RU-486 causes a complete abortion only about 60% of the time.3 A second drug, a prostaglandin, is given 48 hours later to increase its effectiveness. The prostaglandin causes uterine contractions to help expel the embryo.

The Food and Drug Administration has issued an alert entitled Mifeprex (mifepristone) Information:

"FDA is aware of four women in the United States who died from sepsis (severe illness caused by infection of the bloodstream) after medical abortion with Mifeprex and misoprostol."
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have issued a public notice entitled Clostridium sordellii Toxic Shock Syndrome After Medical Abortion with Mifepristone and Intravaginal Misoprostol:

"Investigation by FDA, CDC, and state and local health departments into the two most recently identified U.S. deaths after medical abortion is ongoing. Empiric therapy for patients suspected of having postpartum or postabortion toxic shock syndrome should include antimicrobials with anaerobic activity against Clostridium species."
Danco Laboratories announced that it is modifying the labeling for Mifeprex to include updated safety information:

"Danco has received reports of five deaths from serious bacterial infection and sepsis following treatment with Mifeprex and misoprostol ... Women who are undergoing a medical abortion with the Mifeprex and misoprostol regimen should contact their provider or an emergency room right away if they experience abdominal pain or discomfort or general malaise (including weakness, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea), with or without fever, more than 24 hours after taking misoprostol. "

The manufacturer of Cytotec, G.D. Searle (now part of the Pharmacia Corporation), recommends that Cytotec not be used for abortion:

"Searle regards the administration of misoprostol, either alone or in combination with other drugs to interfere with the course of pregnancy, as misuse of the product. ... We strongly condemn misuse of the product."68
Note: Cytotec is an anti-ulcer drug, intended for patients at risk of developing stomach ulcers from high doses of aspirin-like medications taken for conditions such as arthritis.

On August 23, 2000 Searle issued a letter to all Health Care Practitioners entitled "Important Drug Warning Concerning Unapproved Use of Intravaginal or Oral Misoprostol in Pregnant Women for ... Abortion." It states in part:

Serious adverse events reported following off-label use of Cytotec in pregnant women include maternal and fetal death; uterine hyperstimulation, rupture or perforation requiring uterine surgical repair, hysterectomy [removal of uterus] or salpingo-oophorectomy [removal of ovaries and Fallopian tubes]; amniotic fluid embolism; severe vaginal bleeding, retained placenta, shock, fetal bradycardia and pelvic pain.69

The "black box" warnings on Cytotec's label state in part:
UTERINE PERFORATION HAS BEEN REPORTED FOLLOWING ADMINISTRATION OF COMBINED VAGINAL-AND-ORAL CYTOTEC IN PREGNANT WOMEN TO INDUCE ABORTION. IN EACH OF THESE REPORTED CASES, THE GESTATIONAL AGE OF THE PREGNANCIES WAS UNKNOWN.

Hell, I'd say give them $25,000 if it's their first pregnancy and they volunteer for sterilization to be performed immediately following the abortion.

I also agree for abortion for the purpose of eugenics (i.e. the child will have Down syndrome), and in the cases of rape or endangerment to the mother's life.

Only problem I see is that if outlawed then all White females seeking an abortion will go to the assorted meds or even worse, to an "underground" unlicensed doctor which could be even worse for her. As I've heard, lots of them have highly unsafe and unsanitary practices. I don't think its reasonably safe to perform any obtrusive medical procedure in a private residence, back alley clinic or a 7-11. It seems that even if outlawed you would need trained, experienced and licensed physicians on hand for emergency situations. Do any of these bills address this?
Abortions for eugenic purposes don't bother me at all and any mud who gets one is just cause for a celebration in my book.
Guess my real problem is it seems that it is always young White girls with so much genetic potential who are the main recipients of abortion and not the muds who pop out lil' muds by the dozen.

The only immediate effect regarding the overturning of Roe vs. Wade would be a return to states deciding whether or not to legally proscribe abortion. Does anyone see New York or California passing any restricitive laws? No. So women of means, a disproportionate number of them white, would go out of state for abortions. Meanwhile, the restrictions would fall on non-whites and poor whites in restrictive states. These would be the ones having children they otherwise would not have. Thus, the effect would be seriously dysgenic, with the bottom feeders forced to breed while smart white women continue having abortions by travelling to other nonrestrictive locations.

Any White woman who aborts a viable White fetus should be shot in the back of the head and her stinking corpse tossed into a shallow ditch out back behind the nearest building.

Except in the case of rape, incest or medical abnormality (I’m mellowing a little with age.)

If the woman is unable to rear the child, it should be put up for adoption.

I think women should have full rights to have abortions, but only if they presented the men she wanted to sleep with to a 12 person panel, including her father, mother, siblings, extended family members, and the final slots filled (no pun intended) out by leaders in the community. It would go to committee, and arguments for and against would be presented, with each individual allowed 30 minutes each to state his/her case, and then it would go to a blind vote. If the sex was authorized by a 2 thirds majority vote, then the fornication could commence, with of course a three day cooling off period. It's only fair.
