NU rips Holocaust denial

President calls prof an embarrassment but plans no penalty

Northwestern University President Henry Bienen said Monday that a professor's recent comments denying that the Holocaust happened are "a contemptible insult to all decent and feeling people" and an embarrassment to the university.

Bienen commented days after tenured engineering professor Arthur Butz commented in the Tribune and in the Iranian press that he agreed with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's assertions that the Holocaust is a myth.

The whole book is online sonewhere.Butz was a pioneer, AFAIK he was the first American to introduce the Holocaust Revisionism subject to an American audience. He has taken a lot of crap over the years for his brave stance. He is one of the good guys.

Butz's book is brilliant. I bought it second hand from Amazon (lol).

It looks like this woman hit almost as many branches on her way down the ugly tree as Tamar Jacoby.

.. yea, O'Reilly should have been wearing a yarmulke and tallits while fawning over Lipstadt. He didn't challenge her assertions that Prof. Butz was telling lies. It's almost as if his jew handlers told him to do a puff-piece with Lipstadt to put pressure on N.U.'s president to take Prof. Butz out of the classroom.
