Sorry to hear about this Alex, maybe you can post on one of the other white rights forums and give us updates. Thank you for all you do to help us stay together. We have to support each other, unlike other whites that don't care. Another thought , maybe you could set up one of those blogs in the mean time, if any of the servers will allow it.

Hopefully this little intermission will dust off some of the Opposition types.

I could host VNN/F on my web server, but the connection speed might not be up to par. The limitations would be that the server is pretty small and connects to the net via a shitty dsl link. It's also a MS server, so there might be some problems running a php board. If Stan or someone could remotely manage the server, I might be able to add a $10 IP address to my router and slap a dedicated unix box on the network. I could spare 5 or so gigs of disk space without doing any upgrades. Lots of possibilities, but I suspect private hosting would be the best move. I'd be interested in seeing what VNN's monthly bandwidth requirements are.

I was going to suggest that we all reconstitute temporarily over at Hal Turner's forum, since a number of us post over there normally, but this Uncensoredvnn looks like a better idea, since we don't know if Hal Turner will be able to get his forum back up by this Friday as promised. I wonder if Uncensoredvnn can handle the expected upsurge in traffic, though.

Migration plans were already underway. It seems better to speed them up and make the switch now, rather than attempt a temporary solution. We always appreciate hosting offers, and even just the names of good hosts.

I don't know if I can go 10 days without VNN. It's the only place where letting off steam doesn't get me locked up. Maybe I'll just grab my backpack and wander into the mountains for a week or so, at least society will be safe.

Peer 1 Network Enterprise said yesterday that it will purchase discount dedicated server company ServerBeach for $7.5 million. The deal provides customers and cash flow for Peer 1, a Canadian provider of bandwidth and colocation services.
