Picked up the March/April 2006 American Handgunner and found an interesting essay under Gun Rights by Jeff Snyder p. 92:
Violence and Nonviolence Part 2
Essentially Snyder is analyzing a 16th century essay by Etienne de la Boetie, "The Discourse of Voluntary Servitude" discussing the nature of political obedience. Snyder's interest in this centers on the 2nd amendment and how it relates to armed insurrection against tyranny. It's an absolutely fascinating analysis and frankly I was shocked to see it in American Handgunner, but it has some relevance to White racialists, especially the analysis of Boetie and how people can so willingly accept servitude.

De la Boetie's essay is in three parts, and we've reviewed the first, in which he explains governments work because men place themselves in servitude voluntarily, willingly aiding and abetting those who enslave them. In the second part of his essay, he investigates, "how it happens this obstinate willingness to submit has become so deeply rooted in a nation that the very love of liberty now seems no longer natural." ...
De la Boetie begins by conceding men who are free, before letting themselves be enslaved, must either be "driven by force or led into it by deception." Enslavement by force occurs when a people are "conquered by foreign armies--or by political factions." However, he notes, when men lose their liberty through deceit, "they are not so often betrayed by others as misled by themselves."
What he finds incredible, however, is "as soon as a people becomes subject, it promptly falls into such complete forgetfulness of its freedom that it can hardly be roused to the point of regaining it, obeying so easily and so willingly that one is led to say, on beholding such a situation, that this people has not so much lost its liberty as won its enslavement." He then begins his investigation of why this occurs.
The first and most compelling reason for men's voluntary servitude is custom. What they grow up with is what they are used to; it's accepted as natural, it's "just the way things are." How could it seem unbearable or intolerable to them, when they've lived so long in just this condition? How could they feel a real need to change what has always been part and parcel of their lives?
Some dynamite stuff there! We should definitely take a closer look at Boetie's work as it applies to our current predicament. The White race has globally fallen to Jewish deceit, and now we face the dual problem outlined above, Whites can hardly be roused and increasingly custom as Whites are currently becoming accustomed to is White racial suicide. This is particularly acute in the Kwa, where Whites while I maintain are a somewhat disguntled bunch, still cling to their Kwan myths supplied by the Jew, like this one, "we're a nation of immigrants..." if I had a nickel for every time I've heard a White Kwan parrot that nonsense...:rolleyes: This is a real problem especially in the Kwa.
Consider Kwa demographics, White children are growing up in a "nation" that's increasingly nonwhite, and celebrates nonwhite culture, custom and pathology.
How is the White race to be roused? That question has yet to be answered satisfactorily and the evidence for that is our current and continued failure as a race in the real world.
