The Nigerian Association Ireland (NAI) was founded in 2005, It is an independent and non-governmental organisation registered in Ireland as a national platform, striving to champion the fair causes of Nigerians in Ireland. It aims to promote positive integration and effective participation of our people in the civil Irish society.
We have resolved to enhance the positive image of Nigeria, and strongly condemn stereotyping and prejudices towards Africans and, Nigerians in particularly. It would be a link transcending the barriers of distance and mind set of Nigerians towards coming together and help NAI fulfill commitments to our people in Ireland.
Our Mission
NAI strives to be an effective and inclusive platform; a strong voice for Nigerians in Ireland. To promote and enhance effective integration and positive exchange of cultures, aiming mutual benefits, dignity and respect for all.
Vision
To see all Nigerian in the republic of Ireland integrates positively, have equal access to opportunities that arises, and positive involvement in the Irish civil society as we move towards mutual realization of our diverse potentials and aspirations.
To have NAI chapters in all counties, and effectively network with all Nigerian organizations in Ireland. The warning is - our generation owes a duty to our future generations in Ireland; to enhance their being underdogs or coeternal equals.
Aims and Objectives
To Promote Unity, Assistance and cooperation amongst Nigerians
To Enhance and Promote the quality image of Nigeria in Ireland
To defend the Moral, Cultural, Social and Civic rights of Nigerians
To Promote Bilateral Relationship between Irish and Nigerian Businesses
To Represent the Interest of Nigerians before the Government and Agencies
Establishing Working relationship with organizations and agencies with same values,
and exchange of ideas.
