I bought a set of eight Roy Rogers movies (all made back in the mid to late '40s) on DVD for my eight-year-old son to watch. He loved them! Watched them over and over!

These were not episodes from the TV series. These were all movies (most over an hour long) made by Roy before the TV era.

And they are excellent. There is no hint of race mixing or even racial pandering. Often the villians in these films are greasy, swarthy, Jewish looking types. These villans are usually corrupt businessmen, con men, crooks, etc. that could well be Jews. Anyway, they must have had Jews playing the roles, because they sure look the part.

Roy is a young buck in these early films, lean and fit and quick with his fists. He does not tolerate insults or attacks or abuse of any sort. He plays a real straight shooter, open, honest and manly in all his ways, and in no ways cowardly. He's a wonderful role model for white boys.

These films had already come and gone when I was growing up, and so I didn't see any of them. And I found that I enjoyed them as much as my son did. Again, they are clean and wholesome in every way, with absolutely no degenerate propaganda themes in any of them. But remember, these were movies made in the 1940s. I can't speak for the later films and TV episodes that Roy Rogers made. Racial pandering, racial sympathizing, sly equalitarian theme, etc. began appearing in TV fare by the late 50s and early 60s. But these early Roy Rogers movies could have been made by Joseph Goebbels... they are that pure and good.

If you've got some growing boys, spend about five bucks down at the Wal-Mart and get the set. A great buy.
