Please forgive me for whining but too many stickies screws up a forum. There are currently 9 stickies on a 30 thread page for the General Discussion forum (at time of posting) and 10 for the Just In forum, I noticed the links to this (http://www.vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=24593) sticky thread are not even working and many of the sticky threads haven't been posted on for months -
Now I'm not saying there aren't many important topics that have been made sticky but JMHO too many stickies on a page has a negative effect on the reader, it dilutes impact by reducing the number of active threads one can view at a glance without having to turn the page, threads fall off the front page into oblivion because there is not enough room left etc, I'd like to respectfully suggest that the number of stickies on each forum be winnowed down to no more than 4 or 5 if at all possible and or the page thread count be turned up to 40 -
Thanks, just something to think about -- KK
