Cops Warn Dangerous Offender May Be Hiding In G.T.A.
Friday August 25, 2006
He's committed armed robbery.
He's been convicted of assault.
He's been in jail for forcible confinement.
He's a known drug user who's served time for those offences.
And officials have no idea where he is, but think he might be hiding out in the G.T.A.
They're turning to you to help them find 25-year-old Bernard Thamvongs. The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad is hot on his trail after he walked away from a halfway house on August 17th, violating his release requirements.
He's known to be extremely violent and cops say he has ties to both Toronto and Kitchener. And they're desperate to find him before he's tempted to commit yet another crime.
He's described as:
Asian,
5'8",
140 lbs.,
Short black hair,
Brown eyes.
Cops consider him armed and dangerous and say if you see him, keep your distance and call (416) 692-8362, or (416) 808-5900 right away.
