Jury tainted

To project an image of Hale and his organization as "extremely dangerous," the government is exposing the Jurors to highly visible, hyped-up security.

While bomb sniffing dogs wearing bright orange "K-9 Explosives" tags wander the 14th-floor courtroom and hallways, a half dozen heavily armed U.S. Marshals work metal detectors and examine drivers licenses at the door. Meanwhile, unusually large and heavily armed marshals hover over the defendant at all times, as if he were Charles Manson.

According to sources, one juror was visibly shaken when he noticed the "K-9 Explosives" tag on a bomb-sniffing dog. U.S. District Judge James T. Moody had to take the juror aside to assure him that it was just a precaution. According to the Associated Press, Moody ordered the juror not to discuss what he had seen with fellow jurors because "it might bias their view of the case" — as if the others jurors hadn't already noticed.

Don't get me wrong... I wish nothing but the best for Mr. Hale. But I think the deck is stacked.

They have made it so the dumbed down "jury" will decide things based purely on "emotion" rather than facts. Of course with half the "jury" being black, this is a no-brainer.

Yea, when I heard about the make up of the jury I was a bit shocked. All of them are basically anti-racist, but I thought juries were supposed to be unbiased. I don't know why Hale's lawyer doesn't demand a different set of jurors be selected that have no strong views regarding race.

Far from that. His lawyer has said he is happy with the make-up of the jury! A jury member saw a K-9 EXPLOSIVES dog and was told not to mention it to other jurors, as it might be prejudicial. Even though that sounds like grounds for a mistrial, that would also play into their hands as M.H. would then have to wait for a new court date. Hell, they let that Fox character testify. Trial is certainly taking on kangaroo-like characteristics.
