Suspects Sought In Violent Coffee Shop Robbery

Police are hoping you can help them track down a pair of robbery suspects who took turns punching a 53-year-old female coffee shop worker during a heist earlier this week.

The robbery happened on Wednesday, Sept. 6 around 11pm at a coffee shop on Kipling Avenue just south of Dundas Street West.

Authorities say one of the suspects pulled the victim from a back room and demanded she open the cash register. When the woman couldn't get the till open both suspects punched her in the head, one knocking her to the ground, and pointed a gun at her head.

The entire robbery was caught by a security camera and the two suspects are described as:

Black, early to mid 20s
Thin build
He was wearing black shoes with white stripes on the sides.

Black, early to mid 20s
Medium build
He was wearing a white baseball cap and a bandana covering his face. He was also carrying a dark knapsack.
