Shouldn't he be running in his home state of Pennsylvania? I knew this was going to be a pretty much lose-lose situation, so it looks like I might have to vote for a pro-war candidate. I really do not want to vote like that, but if it means keeping a Jew from getting the position then so be it.

This is no solution. I've heard rumours that German nationalists who didnt feel represented by any political party on election day, simply expanded their voting paper with an old German workers party. The vote of course was annulled but they themselves had the personal satisfaction of voting for what they truly beleived in.

Delaware - Unlike other candidates who have challenged Delaware's popular Republican congressman in recent elections, Michael Berg shouldn't have a problem with name recognition.

Since he spoke out two years ago about the death of his son, Nick, a 26-year-old contractor who was beheaded in Iraq, Berg has been interviewed, marched in anti-war protests and given speeches around the globe.

He's also been arrested about a half-dozen times for civil disobedience, most recently at the Pentagon while trying to get an audience with Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.

"This midterm election is really a referendum on the war, it's a referendum on the Bush policies," said Berg, who believes the most urgent task facing the nation is to end U.S. military involvement in Iraq.

Berg, 61, is the only candidate for the Green Party's formal endorsement at its May convention.

Delaware's Green Party, which boasts about 600 members in an electorate of more than 547,000 registered voters, has never won a campaign. Berg has never run for office.

The incumbent, Republican Michael Castle, is the longest-serving U.S. House member in state history. Berg has raised a few thousand dollars; Castle has more than $1 million in his treasury.

"I'm not a politician; I'm a school teacher," said Berg, who retired from teaching in 2002. "There are times when it's really hard to do it, but I'm committed to it."

Berg said he had no notion of running for office when he moved to Delaware last spring. He just wanted to downsize from the four-bedroom house in Chester County, Pa., where he and his wife were besieged by media after their son's death, and transition to a more urban setting.

Once a registered Democrat, he switched affiliation to the Green Party after moving to Delaware, and party officials approached him late last summer about running.

"Some might whisper 'carpetbagger,' since he just came into the state in May," said Samuel Hoff, a political science professor at Delaware State University in Dover.

Dennis Spivack, a Wilmington attorney seeking the Democratic nomination, said simply that he understands Delaware better than Berg does.

"I don't see how you can come into a state and in just three to six months be truly representative," said Spivack, a Vietnam-era Navy veteran who agrees with Berg that the Iraq war was a mistake for which Castle bears part of the blame.

Hoff gives Castle's challengers little chance of winning but said general disillusionment with the Bush administration could reduce the incumbent's usually overwhelming margin by a few points.

"I think we have an interesting race which, on the face of it, looks like it's ganging up on Michael Castle in reference to the Iraq war," he said.

I've been making it a point to support any Jew against the current war(s) because it puts Jews in a situation where they have to fight each other; this raises their conflict level to appreciable heights and degrades their goy-killing faculties.

Of course this strategem bypasses the (real) possibility that antiwar Jews are only pretending to be antiwar. There is a cogent reason for supporting them anyway: Even pretense sucks up energy and thus Jews only pretending to oppose Bush are still wasting gas they'd otherwise be using for far more nefarious things, say, implementing the North American Free Trade Zone or something.

By the way, I'd cheer up a bit. Jews are very divided on shit these days. I got back from NYC earlier than I expected (last Wednesday, late) but in town I stayed as near the hive as most goys ever get. You can feel the aggravation, and some are pretty honest about the conundrum they're in.

Monday morning I bought the Rupert Murcoch paper, the Daily News, right next to a Hassidic guy. Rupert's paper was flipping about the N. Korean nuke, which came as a surprise to absolutely nobody with any working brain cells which included the Hassid. I just flashed him a frustrated grin as I bought the paper and he, catching my drift, grinned back. It was like that moment in V for Vendetta where the guy in the pub yells "Can you believe this shit?"

From what I can tell, no. Not one New York Jew believes one minute of Bush's bullshit, or Rupert Murdoch's bullshit either. But as some sort of exquisite punishment, some Karmic debt coming due, they have to make like they do. Run Bush out, laugh Rupert to death, what happens? The lies and crimes of scum like this is all that's holding Zionism and world Jewry up. This has to suck.

An Argentine official regarded the intention of the George W. Bush family to settle on the Acuifero Guarani (Paraguay) as surprising, besides being a bad signal for the governments of the region.

Luis D Elia, undersecretary for the Social Habitat in the Argentine Federal Planning Ministry, issued a memo partially reproduced by digital INFOBAE.com, in which he spoke of the purchase by Bush of a 98,842-acre farm in northern Paraguay, between Brazil and Bolivia.

The news circulated Thursday in non-official sources in Asuncion, Paraguay.

D Elia considered this Bush step counterproductive for the regional power expressed by Presidents Nestor Kirchner, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Evo Morales, Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro.

He said that "it is a bad signal that the Bush family is doing business with natural resources linked to the future of MERCOSUR."

The official pointed out that this situation could cause a hypothetical conflict of all the armies in the region, and called attention to the Bush family habit of associating business and politics.

The Governor of Alto Paraguay, Erasmo Rodríguez Acosta (http://www.neike.com.py/pls/wow/neike2.detalle?icontenido=168107) has admitted to hearing that George Bush Sr. owns land in the Chaco region of Paraguay, in Paso de Patria. Acosta says that rumor has it that Bush owns near to 70 thousand hectares (173,000 acres) as part of an ecological reserve and/or ranch. However, the governor said he had no documents to prove the rumor. Acosta said that some stories credited the land to the Fundación Patria (http://www.fundapatria.org/ing/index.html), which Bush would be a member of.

The spokespeople of the organization were not available to comment. Supposedly, Timothy Towell (http://www.lanacion.com.py/noticias.php?not=143871), the U.S. Ambassador in Asunción (the capital of Paraguay) is the present administrator of the land.
