everyone check out Jeff Monson (also known as the anarchist) going for the heavyweight title at the next UFC event. One of the best submission fighters around, extreme political views, and one hell of a nice guy.

Monsons got some skills, no doubt. I don't know anything about his political views but anachists are usually known as leftists. He has been beat by Forrest Griffin, Ricco Rodriguez and my neighbor, Chuck Liddell.

Prediction: Tim Sylvia will melt the "Snowman".

Monson is a member of the Industrial Workers of the World organisation. His views are very anti-government, and anti-imperialist. I wouldn't go as far as to call him a leftist, but he's definetely not a nationalist (of any blend) either. As formentioned he is a very nice guy as well. I wish him the best in this fight, but I think the 25 pounds and 8 inch difference is going to be enough for Sylvia if he can keep it standing. If it goes to the ground, it's all Monson. Sylvia is notorious for being tap-happy since he got his arm snapped.

I would have agreed with you. Looks like Sylvia does okay on the ground, too, although akward in appearance, I hear. Who would have thought?

"tap happy"? How many times has he tapped out since getting his arm broken?

I am a little disappointed by the Hughes loss. Being out here with him in farm country, well, you know. He's like a neighbor and all.
