I would be interested in knowing which of Dr. Pierce's 20 minute speeches you think are most important or interesting. One that always stuck in my mind was the one that he gave on the weekend before the Oklahoma City Bombing, which ended with the phrase, "And the storm will break loose all over this land!"

Taking the audience into consideration, Odysseus' Way combines scathing sarcasm of MC with a pretty violent solution so it might be over the top for some new prospective converts. On the balance though it was a pretty effective broadcast I think, arguably his most memorable.

The one where he was going to bash people's heads in with a sturdy oak table leg.

Also memorable was the one about the Wichita Massacre. Had to have dental work done after that one from grinding my teeth so hard.

My favorites are the broadcast where he lost it talking about the piece of shit El Presidente Klinton bombing White Serbia on Easter Sunday in ‘99, the previously mentioned spellbinder on the Wichita Massacre and one shortly before he died informing us about the White sex slave trade in skummy Izrael where Pierce delivered his “filthy, stinking kikes pawing our women”, …. the incomparable WLP is sorely missed. I was an avid listener for years, the mealy mouth that does the ADV broadcast today reminds one of a meek suburban judeochristian pastor, not a ballzy White man telling it like it iz!

"Forest for the Trees": takes you from lemmingdom through race consciousness step by step, supporting every position clearly. I recognized my own evolution in it, I'm sure I'm not alone.

Kevin actually created the American Dissident Voices radio program back around 1990, back when commercial shortwave stations were becoming an alternative medium for non-mainstream political programming. Originally Dr. Pierce gave a broadcast about every four weeks and Kevin did all the others.

I have heard the criticism of Kevin's voice quite often. I don't mind his voice myself, but I can give the criticism that he does not sound patriarchal, and a wise patriarch is what Dr. Pierce was to us.

The charge of meekness seems to have some validity too. For some reason Kevin has long had the habit of couching his advocacy of the White race in somewhat apologetic terms, as in the orange stickers that say, "Earth's Most Endangered Species: the White Race -- Help Preserve it." Those stickers were okay as long as they were ground-breaking, I guess, but for years I have felt that there was no need for all that scaffolding that equates us with helpless animals deserving pity that we are not going to get. To me, White People: Preserve your race! was a less convoluted and thus better message. I mention the Endangered Species stickers as a typical example of the kind of path that Kevin's rhetoric often takes, which T. Garrett calls meek.

As I think of Dr. Pierce's style of speaking and his importance to us, I am reminded of what Donald Day wrote in Onward Christian Soldiers about Marshal Pilsudski, the dictator of Poland, who, Day says, addressed the Polish nation in the tone that one would use to scold a cow that had kicked over something in the barn. Pilsudski was a wise patriarch who had advised his people to maintain good terms with Germany at all costs, but his death in 1934 allowed a rotten, foreign-influenced government to take power and a great deal of misery for Polish people resulted.

I read so many of these that I went crosseyed when it was time to proofread another Free Speech. It's different when it's work, I guess. Most of the speeches were effective. The ones I liked the best were those where Dr. Pierce became philosophical, as in THE MORALITY OF SURVIVAL, and made moral comparisons that hardly anybody had thought of making before, but which made perfect sense when he did it. I liked that kind more than the "current events" stuff.

I think the title of the broadcast was "Why Revolution is Necessary." It's the one when at the end of the broadcast Dr. Pierce growls "I'll tell you what the solution is, and the only solution! White Revolution!

In fact it was one of those "Earth's Most Endangered Species" stickers that introduced me to the NA and racialism. I went to the NA website shortly after 9/11 and read almost every ADV text in one night. Whammo! It all hit home, everything made sense! I was racist!

Don't discount "meek" or "convoluted" messages if they prove to be effective.

I used to tape trade in 1990 and a guy sent me one of the stickers along with the usual square flyers that were sent with mail. That got me sending off for info.

I haven't listened to any Pierce broadcasts for a while, I need to check them out.

Our Cause is one of my personal favorites. An oldie but a goody. It does a terrific job explaining exactly WHY we should preserve our race and provides a profound and compelling spiritual element with it. I miss Pierce. It was listening to those ADV broadcasts starting in 1999 that really opened my eyes and helped me understand WHY things are the way they are. I had a lot of it figured out before but didn't take into account the main reason: der Juden.

Although I think Strom has done some very good broadcasts, he lacks the authority, credibility and hardness that Pierce had. Imagine how many more WN converts we would have today if Pierce had not passed away.

I just finished reading The Turner Diaries. I have long admired Dr. Pierce. He was a great man. If you haven't read TTD yet I highly recommend it. Totally ruthless. Utterly uncompromising. Utopian and inspiring. I mean sure it's just another paperback novel of fiction but it really speaks to the heart of the true WN believer. The man was a serious fanatic and a mentor to us all. He was a warrior. I wish he were still alive and among the living here on Earth. I would have loved to have sat down and had a few drinks with him.

Well, I was just using that as an example of a general tendency in Kevin's rhetoric. The most obvious parallel that comes to mind is a program from about 1996 in which Kevin attempted to capitalize on a craze of concern for the plight of the Kurds by saying, "We [White people] are the Kurds of the future." I am not really in favor of that kind of rhetoric, which seems to exploit a momentary whim of public opinion in a plea for pity. It is something that I think distinguishes Kevin's rhetoric from Dr. Pierce's, who as far as I know never said anything like, We are harmless: we are a poor endangered species; we are the poor oppressed Kurds.

Do you mean to say that an orange sticker with a more direct message like White People-- Preserve your race! would not have gotten your attention?

My office was right next to the ADV recording studio, so every Wednesday or so when he would record the broadcast for the subsequent Saturday, he would duck into my office to tell me that he was ready to record, and I would turn off my phone ringer and my computer speakers, and I got to listen to him record them live. Those of you who shared that experience know what that was like. ;->
