"I just spent an hour and a half with the Secret Service discussing VNN Forums -- which, as you can imagine, is exactly how I enjoy spending my evenings. The upside of this is that they are very interested in both the previous ShopWhite hacking and the current Overthrow messageboard hacking and I gave them some printouts of the threads about the hacking of the Overthrow messageboard, and I assume they are going to investigate.

What happened, apparently, was this:

I made a complaint about the conduct of the officer who came to my ex- girlfriend's house, hit one her and threatened me. Instead of investigating the officer, the Florrisant Police Department opened up an investigating of her and I, and issued a memorandum. She, helpfully, sent them a copy of my messageboards, claiming that I was a lunatic who was threatening the President. They called the Secret Service.

At this point I want to remind everyone of my policies regarding law enforcement and criminal investigations. I don't like law enforcement. They make me nervous and I don't trust them -- some of them are honest, many of them are not, and it is very difficult and expensive to get around them when they are dishonest. Because I don't like dealing with law enforcement, I don't break laws. I do publish edgy crap here that really irks the government, but I don't do stuff that would get this site shut down or myself put in jail. ANYONE WHO DOES EITHER OF THOSE THINGS -- does stuff that would get this site shut down or me put in jail -- will be turned over to the police without a single qualm on my part. Further, I have no problem answering the question "has anyone threatened you?" with a list of the most recent threats against me, or using the legal system against anyone who attacks me personally. I do not get involved in other people's legal disputes, nor do I inform on people without cause or cooperate with investigations where I am not directly involved.

When you posted something under my name and tried to get me involved, you personally victimized me. I have your IP, and I have given it to the Secret Service. I have also suggested they check that IP against the IPs of posters to VNN forum, to look to see if they are on the same network or the same provider, to connect statements made there with the hacking here. I have further given them sufficient information that they should be able to quickly locate the individual or individual involved. They are also very interested in threats against my family that an individual using the screename Rev Patrick on VNN Forum have made, and I thank them for that interest as well. (I will note, though, that my father's name is not William A White, and he was not born in 1953 (he is, in fact, he wasn't even born in that decade or the previous one).)

I'm letting folk know this because I hate rumors about rats and other nonsense. They, and other law enforcement, are still interested in my ex- girlfriend's involvement in a stabbing in Springfield, MO, but I don't know much of substance about that. They did inquire about Kevin Strom and the National Alliance and so forth, but I don't know too much about that either, except that I would not be surprised if someone associated with Kevin Strom was involved in hacking my website. The fact that the hard drive from my last computer was stolen is also of interest, since the info there could have been used to hack the messageboards as well.

Again, I am letting folk know what is going on because I want to keep rumors quashed. Someone on VNN Forum posted threats against the President under my screenname on this website in an attempt to frame me, they are in trouble, and I have assisted the investigators in locating them.
