Being an atheist myself, I went to the science subforum of "The Ethical Atheist" to post a proof regarding the feasiblity of diverting certain asteroids into a collision course with Earth. Not that I want such a thing to happen, of course. I was just trying to show that it could be done.

One of the regulars there challenged me to document my data with sources, so I did. One of the sources was a paper that I wrote on the subject of transfer orbits, which was posted to the Prussian Blue (the band of Lynx and Lamb Gaede) "Science & Technology" subforum.

Because of where the paper was located, several liberal atheists felt obliged to raise a huge stink about how awful racism is and, therefore, how morally atrocious racists must be. I decided to accept that issue as a challenge, and I offered to debate any single one of them, whomever was the most knowledgeable about race, to a fair and open debate on the subject of "Whether the races are equals or unequal."

I got no takers. Instead, I received insults, slander, lies, strawman arguments, and other sorts of obfuscation and deception. I tried to appeal to the pride that Atheists traditionally have had in the faculty of Reason, and I reminded them of the spirit to which Atheism has traditionally adhered, namely, a rejection of Sacred Dogmas, in every form.

It was all to no avail. If you want to see a bunch of Atheists behaving like bragging, immature, mean-yet-cowardly, little boys, feel free to check out the thread. It would be amusing, were it not so disheartening. Atheists used to be so much better than those fellows.

Have really enjoyed reading that thread. Only had time for a couple of pages so far.

I get in that same debate all the time, but not as neatly written or spoken.

I wish I was psychic and could tell if any of these people actually believe their own positions. I think few if any "anti-racists" actually believe in racial equality. Anti-racist atheists are the strangest breed. These PC atheists must suffer a lot of psychological stress when exposed to race debate. They may be atheists but they still have religion.

The very idea that nature was somehow constrained, since the dawn of time, to cause no differential evolutionary outcome that modern leftists would find offensive, is ridiculous. haha
