Keep in mind something about the jews on the list; any stories that claim they rose from nothing or from modest means are not true. I worked in the middle of a jew infested industry and saw several "success stories". One jew will get an idea. Scratch that. They steal or "borrow" a good idea. They get other jews involved, to put in money to get their "idea" off the ground. This while whitey struggles, looking for backers, for lenders, to anyone for some help. Usually with little success. Meanwhile, the jews work together and help their "boy" make it to the top. Not only do they network and work together, the beneficiary of all the help has generally agreed to give his backers a cut. And generally they follow through on this. If the jew stole the idea or product, he uses the combined money of his backers, friendly banks, lawyers, what have you to wear down the white who is usually standing on his own.

Whites need to work together like jews. Period. Is it going to happen? I don't think it's going to happen until the economy takes a dump. Then lots of interesting things are going to happen. Much to the chagrin of blacks, browns and jews. ;)

We all know jews by nature work together, they have an insect-like hive mentality as do E. Asians - although the mental "set up" is different in the Asians. In order to support the family, Morris began a business of manufacturing hats and Ida worked as a housewife. Although the family was not wealthy, they lived a modest existence in a middle-class neighborhood in Marbletown, New York. Yet, before long, the local economy began to destabilize and worsen, resulting in the family having to move to Brooklyn. They would not remain there long. The family would move approximately six more times before settling in Manhattan.

Ransdell Pierson in The Queen of Mean: The Unauthorized Biography of Leona Helmsley wrote that " Leona's mother, Ida Rosenthal, was dirt poor but she was graced with "this perfect posture," one of Leona's relatives recalled. "She had a sense of presence. She walked into a room and you knew she was there. She had a very regal way about her... Leona, while not as stunning as her sister Sandra, was still a beauty. Her carved features were guaranteed to attract attention, especially from older men who could fully appreciate the fashion plate's sense of style."

The Queen of Mean

While growing up, Lena had strained relations with the women of her family. She frequently fought with her sisters and mother, whom she claimed to be a "tyrant." In fact, relations would remain especially strained between Lena and her sisters to the point that she refused to attend their funerals decades later.

Conversely, Lena had a close and loving relationship with her brother and father. She remained close to her father, who she described as a gentle and kind man, up until his untimely death from heart disease in 1940 when Lena was twenty-years-old. She was protective of her brother, Alvin, because of his failing health.

Aside from the constant battles between her mother and sisters, little is known about Lena's childhood. According to Hammer, what is known is that Lena excelled academically in her youth, exhibiting "extraordinary talent in English and communication subjects" in high school. Despite the fact that she did well in school and probably enjoyed the subjects she succeeded in, there is reason to believe she was dissatisfied with high school and the course her life was taking. Taking a daring step into the unknown, Lena dropped out of high school before graduation and set out in search for adventure.

The Helmsleys, Rise and Fall of Harry & Leona

With her new lease on life, Lena decided to adopt a new identity by changing her name. Unsure of exactly which name to assume, she intermittently changed between Lee Roberts, Mindy Roberts, Leni Roberts and Leona Mindy Roberts. Eventually, she chose the name of Leona Roberts to use on a more permanent basis. Leona is the name the world would know her by years later and which would also one day become synonymous with the word "mean."

After dropping out of school, Leona claimed she worked as a Chesterfield cigarette ad model. However, her claims have largely been unsubstantiated. To date, there is no evidence that anyone under the various pseudonyms Leona used ever posed as a model for the cigarette company. The only known relation Leona had to Chesterfield cigarettes was her insatiable desire to smoke. Leona was a chain smoker, inhaling several packs a day. It was a habit that would continue well into her adulthood.

At the age of 16, Leona alleged to have enrolled into New York's Hunter College, although there is no record of her having ever attended the school. She claimed to have dropped out after two years of study. Her focus was purportedly shifted from school towards a new interest, a young attorney ten years her senior named Leo E. Panzirer.

In 1938, following a brief courtship Leona and Panzirer married. Four years into the marriage the couple welcomed the birth of their first child, Jay. Not much is really known about the marriage except that shortly after their son's birth, the relationship began to fall apart. During the late 1940s the couple separated then eventually divorced.

Following her divorce from Panzirer, Leona went to work as a secretary for a garment industry executive named Joseph Lubin. Soon after, Lubin began to display an interest in her. The two dated and before long they were married. The relationship would prove to be as unsuccessful as her first marriage. After a few years the marriage ended in divorce. However, the relationship was rekindled again shortly thereafter and the couple decided to give married life another try. They married a second time but after five years, the relationship ended again in divorce.

At the age of forty-two Leona found herself with no job, a grown son to feed and no college education but she refused to let her circumstances deter her. Leona was considered a tough and intelligent woman with a great deal of ambition. She was determined to work hard to fulfill her dreams of one day becoming a huge success. She knew she would likely have to start small and work her way up the socio-economic ladder before she could obtain what she believed she deserved.

Following the breakup of her marriage she temporarily worked at a sewing factory before landing a secretarial job with a real estate firm known as Pease & Elliman. Two years into her job with the firm there was a shift of ownership, which proved to be Leona's lucky break. It would forever change her life.

After the change-over, Leona convinced her new bosses to give her a company license to sell real estate, believing she could outsell the other brokers employed by the firm. It was from that moment that Leona found her true talent as a saleswoman. Leona started with a small clientele, proving that she had an aptitude for selling property. Before long, the firm assigned her to sell cooperative apartments units and condominiums (condos) in more upscale residential areas, a position in which she excelled.

According to Hammer, Leona became vice president of the real estate company after several years, which earned her "a salary and commission in six figures" and allowed her to buy a luxurious pent house on 55th Street in Manhattan. He further stated that in the late 1960s Leona expanded her interests when she established a subsidiary division called Sutton and Towne Residentials, where she acted as president and sold cooperatives and condos in one of Manhattan's wealthiest districts. She had come a long way in a short period of time, yet her newfound success wasn't sufficient enough to satisfy her ambition. Leona set about accomplishing her goals of becoming successful on a much grander scale.
