Saturday Morning with nothing to do but cook and bake. Fine with me :) Following are a few recipes of MINE. Pictures aren't superb, but I took them with my cell so, good enough.

For starters I made homemade dough for crust, and this is an old recipe gramms gave me, simple simple simple.

Ingredients:

3/4 Lard or Shortening
1/4 Boiling Water
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Milk (Whole or 2%)
2 Cups All purpose Flour

Mix Lard or shortening, salt, and milk wth Boiling water and beat until smooth. Slowly add in flour and mix until forms a firm dough. Chill until ready to use. You can also freeze this dough for later use---Smart, eh?

First is a bacon mushroom quiche and it makes for a nice brunch.

Ingredients:

1 tbsp Butter
1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup chopped fresh mushrooms(More if you prefer)
2 cups of the Cheeses of your choice (Swiss,American Cheddar,&Parmesan for me)
6 slices of Cooked Bacon(About a cups worth) Crumble into large/med pieces
5 eggs
1/4 cup sour cream
3/4 cup milk (whole or 2%)

Grease pan you will be using - recipe is actually for a normal sized pie dish (I used a casserole dish), roll out your dough and place in pan.

Melt Butter in sauce pan and sautee mushrooms and onions together. Start layering Bacon, Cheeses, and Mushroom/Onion Mixture in dish.

Combine Eggs, Milk, and Sour Cream. Wisk until frothy and then pour custard over the Bacon mixture.

Bake at 350degrees for 1 hour or until quiche is firm. Allow to cool and settle for 15-20 minutes before serving.

So, with the leftover dough I figured that I would bake a mini apple pie. ~*For some reason*~ there is no cinnamon here which is pretty close to a sin, in my opinion. Gluttony a sin? Heh, What other food do I love and so many other and have plenty of.... Chocolate. That's right a white chocolate apple pie. I call it ....

Apples of Eden
(hahaha)

I just made this up today, and at first I thought I might be crazy, but I think it tastes really good. Oh yah, this is for a mini pie, so if you want to make a bigge one just times everything by how ever many apples you use I suppose.

Ingredients:

1 tbsp Butter
1/2 cup of chopped white chocolate
1/2 tbsp white sugar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 red apple sliced thin
1 tspn flour

You know the drill, grease your baking dish and line with dough...

In a sauce pan melt butter. Add apple sugar, and flour. Let cook for about 5 minutes covered. Add in chocolate and stir until all chocolate melts. DO NOT leave unattended, chocolate can be a bitch and burn easily.
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a113/SSanguine/apple1.jpg

Put Apple mixture into baking dish and cover with remaining dough, cutting slits in the top and brushing on some egg white for a golden glow.

Bake at 350degrees for about 45minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let cool and enjoy.

You really are a useless piece of shit.
All your complaining about women, and when one makes a post about the time she spends in the kitchen, you have a problem with it.
Fucking cocksucker.

You have that kneejerk cattiness of the fat girl. I'm sure it has nothing to do with feeding your boredom away.

Yea. I'm a cocksucker because I watch what I eat. And she's Super-Femme just because she "spends time in the kitchen." Give me a fucking break.

So which is it? Do you hate women spending time in the kitchen or do you hate women that are more alpha than you?

Yah, I'm about 350 pounds, mean old bitch, lookin to start some shit with a little pos jerkoff like yourself. I don't really enjoy cooking or baking, but I have a personal relationship with flour, it's very near and dear to me, especially when I find a drunken lad. Boredom, yes, that's it....

Huh? .... Yah 300lbs of lean mean muscle hehehehe ;p Kmon now! Cooking is cool, baking is better for me, and normally I don't even eat what I make, not because it's poisoned, but I like to watch everyone else enjoy it. Weird.

Sounds like you missed the subtle implications.
It's probably better that way.

The quiche sounds great. I like apple pie ok but go real easy on the sugar. If I modified it I'd have a very small amount of brown sugar or maybe honey instead. If the apples are good you don't have to sweeten it much.

Quiche is one of my favorites. Egg pie. No sugar.

Hey and someone mentioned fat. I use all the butter and sour cream I can get away with. Love fat.

It's been a long day at work and sometimes the red roots have grown too deep and tickle the brain.

It's all good in proportion. The quiche is great, especially for brunch, and I like to make a chicken, artichoke, and mushroom one for dinner.

Unfortunately, diabetes runs in my family, so you have to really watch the sugar, or try to use the sugar substitutes, but like I said before everything in proportion. ;)

CHEESY SWISS BEER BREAD

http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a113/SSanguine/02-14-07_1929.jpg

Yields two loaves

12ounces or a bottle of Regular Beer ---NOT LIGHT
5 teaspoons or 2 packets of active dry yeast
1/2cup Warm water
4tablespoons white sugar
Un Tablespoon of salt
8ounces of Swiss Cheese(Any cheese you want)
5cups of all purpose flour

Cut cheese into small pieces first. In a large saucepan, mix beer, water, sugar, butter and cheese. Heat mixture on low but do not let all cheese melt completely, chunks are good. Let the mixture cool to about lukewarm.

While mixture is cooling....

Mix together flour and yeast, preferably in a large bowl. Add the lukewarm mixture to 2cups of flour and beat for 3-4 minutes a a medium speed. Gradually stir in the remaining 3 cups of flour, by hand or at a slow speed to make into a stiff dough.

Have a board or countertop floured and knead dough for at least 5 minutes. Place dough in a large buttered bowl turning to grease all around. Cover ( I use plastic wrap, mom uses a towel) and let rise in a warm atmosphere for about an hour or until doubled in size.

On your floured board, punch down dough and divide into half. Make a 12x6inch rectangular loaf and cut each into three strips leaving one end joined. Braid the bread, it's not that hard to do, just weave each piece in and out. Carefully place in two well greased 9x5inch loaf pans. Cover again and let rise for another hour or until doubled in size.

Have your oven preheated to 350degrees and bake uncovered for about 45 minutes or until dark golden brown. Remove the bread from the pans immediately to cool. DO NOT attempt to slice until your bread has completely cooled, no matter how strong the temptation, don't ruin the beauty of it.

:) :) ANother fatass recipe :) :)
