(Hartford-AP, Dec. 11, 2003 7:05 AM) _ A crime spree that copied a horror movie has ended in Hartford.
Police this week arrested four robbery suspects who are accused of wearing hockey masks similar to what the character Jason wore in the "Friday the 13th" movies.
The four suspects are accused of taking part in an armed robbery at a Hartford pharmacy in October. It was one of at least six robberies believed to have been carried out by the group earlier this fall.
Police say the robbers held up convenience stores, gas stations and other businesses in September and October.
The four suspects arrested are: 20-year-old Jordi Kerr, 21-year-old Jammal Bazemore, 21-year-old Ronnie Smith and 20-year-old Negus Jones.
All are from Hartford. They are charged with three counts of first-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
