If some of you have been reading my posts, you are well aware that not only a sound mind and body are essential to a healthy society; but also a sound fiscal policy. Arguably, many patriots will point to the banking system as the prime mover of the Wests' destruction.
For those of you who are a little weary of the prospect of owning precious metals, then my suggestion is start small, but start!
The way I approached this subject was by removing all of the unhealthy shit in my life(not my smokes of course), such as junk food, expensive alcohol, cd's etc. and i put it all toward buying a few coins. This I started 13yrs ago when I was 18 years old. As I began to appreciate the history of pm's role as a currency (most of the worlds currencies are named after silver; i.e. sterling pound, the Italian lira, the French currency used to be known as "argent".) I began to acquire more and more. Not only did I make a little change along the way, I also was able to have a healthier lifestyle. Instead of buying 7 dollar Wendy's, I would eat a can of beans or something of the like.
Paper currencies are known as "fiat" or arbitrary currencies. That is, our "faith" in the paper is what makes it of value. It is backed by nothing and in reality, worthless.
Gold and silver on the other hand is money! It has all of the characteristics of money(see wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money)! It can never be destroyed and is internationally accepted. If the dollar collapses, the only and real option is PMs.
Another suggestion for those of you who prioritize the three b's (beans, band aids and bullets) over precious metals; then I have a very sound suggestion: Buddy up with a few of your fellow patriots and share responsibilities. For example, my friend has been collecting weapons for as long as I have been collecting metals. We have split responsibilities on food, water, and the like. Therefore in any situation, be it Armageddon or the like, we are prepared!
The follow up to this post will deal with coin shops, where to buy, and who will buy.
Happy buying!

If you have the precious metals then you can get more beans, bandaids and bullets post-TEOTWAWKI/SHTF.
I try to buy from local guys because I pay in cash and there is no record of my transaction. You never know when ZOG might decide to confiscate again. They might even include silver next time around.

I used to buy from a pawnshop close to here. They would usallyu charge double or triple the face value of silver coins.
Dimes= 35 cents
Quarters = 75 cents
Silver dollars (1800’s) = 3.00
The last time I was in there earlier this month the silver dollars were around $10.00 and the coins were in dollars instead of change.
Happy Birthday, we are the same age. Be careful posting when you did something and the years ago. Chain will be out with his calculator trying to trip you up in years.

I just did a tour of some of the local pawnshops and such today. Guess what I found in the way of silver money? Absolutely nothing. Every pawnshop and coin shop is cleaned out completely of any silver or gold money. I know a coin dealer that is only open on Saturday I will visit him, if anyone has any idea of the proper price of gold or silver coins I would appreciate it. I may see if I can buy some silver coins this weekend. There is a pawnshop that had a cigar box of each silver dimes, quarters, 50-cent pieces and dollars. It is a long way from here but I am thinking about going in that direction next week and will stop in.
I know in this area there is no silver coins or silver bars (they were selling troy ounce silver bars) to be found anywhere.

Careful about buying. A lot of jews are involved in the trade. I remember seeing ads for coins below what everyone else had them for. Seller was one Julius Karp of NY:rolleyes: . I happen to post this on SF on a silver thread and someone posted that they actually bought from this kike. Weeks and weeks went by. No coins. The guy finally threatened to drive to his place and throttle his jew ass before he finally got his merchandise.
Just be careful is all I am saying.

I know a white guy that has a flea market booth; he sells a lot of silver coinage. There is also a pawnshop that usually has a lot of silver coins that people pawn. I don’t know about now. Every shred of silver even the little bars that come in plastic has dried up in this area.
I just don’t know what is a good price to pay for coins.

Coins can be tricky. I used to subscribe to some decent coin magazines that had monthly price listings for everything.
Most of my buying used to be at a flea market dealer. I didn't buy numismatic coins, though. I bought the silver eagles that were tarnished, etc. Got a better deal and still got silver.

jews are heavy in the coin trade and they are a rip off.
the ADVANTAGE of owning silver eagles is for tax purposes. if the feds decide to tax silver one day, then under irs tax code it can only be taxed on its face value. so the silver is with 14 dollars, BUT the face value is a dollar, therefore making it only taxable for 1 dollar.

"... Instead of buying 7 dollar Wendy's, I would eat a can of beans or something of the like..."Avoid the 7 Dollar Wendy's and buy the chili instead. The chili has been known to contain valuable prizes such as severed Philippino fingers or the red-painted toes of select hookers. A can of beans may contain similar objects and as employment in bean- harvesting and processing becomes ever more dependant on Mexican labor, the likelyhood of owning the container with the prize becomes proportionately more likely. Acquiring such investments will prove at least as valuable as collecting rare coins. Because, through history, such objects will not have their value reduced through price fluctuations due to rare metal abundance or the lack of ithttp://img222.imageshack.us/img222/1216/smileymustachest2.gif

As you begin your new journey into buying silver and/or gold. The question comes to mind, what do I buy and how much should I pay for it?
One way to identify fake precious metals, is to bring a magnet. If the metal does not stick then you are ok! Silver and gold are not magnetic. Establish a reputation with the dealer! walk in like you know what you are talking about. Research, so this guy knows he is not dealing with an amateur. Use terms like spot price, market value, gold as money etc.
Dealers like cash, so the friendlier you are, they will more than likely start giving you deals! MAKE SURE YOU PICK UP YOUR GOLD AS SOON AS YOU BUY! people are selling more paper promises than there is gold on the market!!!!!!!!!!
REMEMBER PRECIOUS METALS ARE NON TRACEABLE. None can ever know how much you have! Furthermore, you do not pay SALES TAX! Although, as usual, I believe some states in the U.S. do. AS for Europe, some countries do not sell coins! Others CHARGE A 20% VAT(value added tax) RIP OFF!
GOLD (is for kings)
Why gold? what makes that yellow metal so attractive?
It has been used for centuries and is a metal that is hard to find. Governments and people alike have been using it as a medium of exchange for centuries. It has VERY little industrial use, but its rarity and love for it makes it a metal second to none. It makes kingdoms, and can bring down an empire.
AVE AURELIUM!
1oz,10oz,100oz,1000ozbars
usually sold 5-7%over the spot, or market price of the day. remember there is no sales tax, so......
Suisse a company makes some nice reliable bars.
COINS!
you can buy them in 1oz,.5oz,.25oz,.10oz
there are many coins that nations make so whatever you decide to pickup it is your choice. the most common ones i will list
THE GOLD GLITTERING LADY: The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA'S GOLD EAGLE
MY FAVORITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At one ounce, it has a 50 dollar face value (can only be taxed at that much if the gov't ever decides to tax pm's) it has the most beautiful design for a coin IMO. We can all thank Gaudens for it!
It is usually sold for 5-7% over spot/market price. I buy these because I LOVE the design and I'm not paying sales tax if you pay more, then you are getting ripped of!
2.The Canadian maple leaf. Nice design. same price as the U.S. eagle
3. The South African Kruegarand. It was South African Currency at one time. Because it was sold for cheap and abundant, YOU SHOULD NOT BE PAYING MORE THAN 17 DOLLARS OVER SPOT PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!
4. The Chinese PANDA. Made in china it is abundant and becoming popular. I CAN GET THESE FOR SPOT PRICE!!!!!!! but i still don't buy them because, fuck the slopes. But it is a good investment, and you should be able to get them at max, 5% over spot.
Gold is an excellent investment, if you have the cash BUY BUY BUY remember you do not necassarily have to buy an ounce!
Other nations make coins and are used mostly for collecting and are not really popular.
next time we will cover SILVER YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Kikes were so bad in shaving off the edges of coins that the US Mint had to start putting the rough edges on the coins that we see on quarters today. Leave it to the jew to try and 'shave a little' off the side.
