Someone once said that if you are in a fair fight, you didn’t plan it properly. The power to wage war is the power to wage war successfully.

The Wotanic idea of dying while facing fearful odds does not suggest that Wotan would throw all his good warriors away in hopeless causes. It suggests that when your only choice is dying while fighting or dying while not fighting, it is better to die fighting. Will Rogers said that the main thing about being a hero is to know when to die.

Confucius said: “To lead an untrained people to war is to throw them away.” Courage without strategy is a wild beast.

That's a great quote. The jews invert this thought. They create circumstances to advance their plans. They even have a term for it. Tikkun olam. An insight I have been trying to pass to friends: if a group has a term for something, they likely indulge. People don't create terms for situations they never find themselves in.

Wise people have seen our world now headed toward political fragmentation. If we want our race and culture to survive through the coming period, we can no longer do it through politics. Being “in the right” or having a higher civilization will not save us any more than it saved Rome from falling.

We will have communities outside the margins of society, religious racial communities, which can later rise and begin again. Building these communities is our main task and strategy now.

Can a system be set up to block the things that always end up corrupting us? Attach race and the military ethos to religion and you have the foundation of the new world, as it was the foundation of all past great white civilizations--this time we should have learned how to hang on to these values.

Old Ernie Pyle said that war makes giant creatures out of little routine men. The feeling of helplessness or the loss of hope often decides the issues. We need to create hope over the long term so that we can win the war.

What exactly does "tikkun olam" mean?

The war will be won. We are suffering and we will suffer more, and lose more, but the White race will never be destroyed. The only question is how much damage will be done before we stand on firm ground once again.

Another sure thing: the Jewish race is doomed. If they would manage to destroy Whites, they would be swept away themselves. The darker races would have no more pity on them than on Whites. And when Whites save themselves, the Jew will be destroyed all the same, when people understand what is happening. The pattern has been local Jewish tricks leading to local pogroms. This time global Jewish tricks will lead to global pogroms. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide....

Wilmot Robertson had some interesting things to say about revolution and secession in his book “The Ethnostate.”

Robertson thought that the smartest course was secession. He thought that we should educate, arouse, and act in that order. These have always been the steps to power. Acting before education and arousal are invitations to failure.

Secessions take place most often during the disintegration of empires and multiracial states when secession is not always resisted or contested. It is undertaken only when the time is ripe and success high. Sudden coups usually face a forceful response.

We are talking here about the day after tomorrow when we have reached the point where we have to choose between racial states or no states at all.

I think we should now channel the growing frustrations of whites into building a racial religious organization. As the saying goes:the political order needs to be based on a vision of a sacred order if it is to endure and to be healthy.

Yes, I am pretty certain the White race will win. Say that we become the minority in every country, or say it happens only in the U.S.; that means a Third World economy for the entire West, and the world. That's a whole different ballgame. Right now, Whites live in a world where they get money even if they are unemployed -- in other words, we live in luxury. People who live in luxury don't revolt. When they are hungry, that's a different thing. And even if we would be only forty percent of the population in the West, we would still win easily. So I'm not worrying about that, I'm only worried about how much damage will be done before we are free.

Secession might be a good idea. What you need right now is an anti-immigration political party to organize through. That's what people will join in large numbers. And unfortunately I don't think such a party would be able to speak openly about the Jew, not if it wants to gather large numbers of people. That's the reality we have to work with. But even without that, you have made huge progress if you manage to get White people to think of themselves as a group with its own interests.

That's the first step, and it's a big step. From there you can take another road, if you choose to.

I hope that what you suggest would work, but I assume that nothing political can be done to stop the decay---yet I would never say never. I think of Spengler saying that in the Winter period there is no progress except a progress toward decay.

I doubt if anyone can break the hold of the media, the government and the Christians. And the democratic process won’t work when we are the minority---which has already happened in California. You can be sure that the new majority will not treat their minorities as nicely as we treated ours.

Since we can’t do anything before we lose the democratic process, we have to build our own communities, hoping we can have something ready when times are better for our reawakening. We need a deep religion to maintain values through generations in a decaying society. Alone we won’t make it.

well that's the old nihilist european conservative-revolution types like Spengler who can at most call for a noble "last stand."

belief however, can initiate the unimaginable. 'religion' will ever remain a wild card. we are on such a downward slope that playing wild cards may be a good hope for us.

I would say that blind faith and resolute belief which looks to the unitiated like fanaticism is a source of incomprehensible energy. much has been made of the "third reich tapping the irrational unconsicous" and that sort of thing. indeed it did. Myth is at times the gateway to truth. But to enter you must believe.

"Cynicism" was the product of the decadent Greek period called "Hellenism." We need less cynicism and more "fanaticism." Cynics in the end will just be like childless Roman senators killing themselves in a dignified manner while the barbarians run amuck. I hate to say this, because I have a profound love and regard for Europe, but to me that seems like Europe. Old and dying and lacking the vigor to fight.

Count me out from that. I'm not going out like that. I'd struggle and gasp to the last breath of air for life. And I think White Americans in all our hybrid vigor are too young to quit. We have the energy and the malleability to become the New Franks hammering together a new White Imperium. Part of that will be Belief. Individual belief is not the question here, it is the collective expression of Belief that forms atoms into ranks and sends them into the fray with a hymn on their lips. Another allusion-- where the other Greeks would drink and hoot and holler before battle, the Spartiates would sing. Imagine that, for us.

Nothing was said about quitting. I’m promoting a warrior religion here, a new “collective expression of Belief" as you put it. The Christianity you support is not warrior-oriented, and so your references to Spartans etc. seems odd.

The reality of our condition is that we are dying faster than we are being born, we have no power, no media, no government, and many enemies. You may have all the vigor required to fight but it still doesn’t help much to commit suicide in the face of overwhelming force. Better to build and bond your people first and wait for the rot to progress, then you can kick down the door...that's how I was thinking about Spengler.

As for singing before battle, following WWII the Germans said that the British attacked singing, the French attacked shouting, but the Americans attacked in silence.

I don't think such a party could reach the White House, no, but it is the best way to organize through, is my point. There are people who won't join any other organization, thinking that they don't do much good, just evolve into book clubs and complaining together. They want to get out there and spread the message, and a party is the way to do it through. And there are people who will believe that such a party can make it through the ballots -- many people, and these people you organize this way. A party. That's a very good way of building community. And I'm also pretty sure you can take a few local seats with it, even control some cities, maybe even control a great portion of a state, which would not be nothing -- it would be something. It would invigorate people, give them hope, and make more join the ranks.

To paraphrase stalin; it doesn't matter who casts the votes, it matters who counts them. This country sure is a mess, but look how long communism held sway in Russia. Long past it's obvious failure. For a populist system, it wasn't very popular. The governed are damn foolish if they think they pick their governors.

What we have to do first is reaffirm Nordic values, heroic values, the warrior ethos, and build our religious, hierarchical and meritocratic communities, so that there will be something available for our race when conditions are right. First Nordic values than a Nordic state.

I think you will agree that democracy is inferior to hierarchical and meritocratic systems, but our people don't see this yet. Interesting that we never trusted the working leadership of our military or our economy to democratic leadership. Both have rank, hierarchy, etc.

We wage a religious-cultural struggle before the power struggle on the political plane can be resumed.

I'd have no beef with those following your proposed religion. But how would your religion treat those who were irreligious, or, gasp, blasphemers? Good question to ask christians: What kind of god is your god? If I lead an exemplary life, but refute your gods existence, will he send me to hell?
As long as it remained an adjunct, and not a prerequisite.

This may be getting off the theme of the thread a bit, but I'll answer it this way:

The beauty of The White Temple religio-philosophy is that it does not force modern man to make a choice between Godhood and science, which is happening all over the globe today.

The principle is that the material (not the “spiritual”) evolves by way of biological evolution to Godhood, a Godhood which is the highest aspect of the material, what we call Materiaspiritus. This synthesizes Godhood and science. We are all becoming Gods, or more precisely, we are The-Will-to-Godhood becoming God. We are the eyes and evolved consciousness of God at this stage in our evolution, but for God to become fully God, to know himself absolutely, we have to evolve to Godhood.

Real human nature, biological human nature, need not be conveniently bypassed with this synthesis; we can be racialist, xenophobic, territorial, hierarchical and all the other real sides of human nature yet still be deeply religious in our ideal of evolving to Godhood. Many people have to virtually deny human nature and science to resolve their religious difficulties, or deny Godhood to resolve their scientific difficulties. The White Temple doesn’t have to do either. The perfect synthesis.

If you believe in racial evolution, eugenics etc., you are already a sort of Templer. We attach an ideal to upward evolution: Godhood. The organization of Temples is necessary for all the reasons that group bonding is necessary, a man alone has little power, a group can do far more.

At this time the White Temple approach is to remain decentralized, with local Templers running their own Temples, eg. recruiting, making use of their own dues, etc. There will be regular encouragement and inspiration from “The Templer,” my weblog, etc. (soon to be up) but we think the times call for independent Temples.

If you are interested in our book for more detail, we have "THE WHITE TEMPLE," still in ringbinder manuscript format, or the nine page, "ALL HEROES RITUAL," or the “ARTICLES OF MEMBERSHIP” form, which individual Temples can use; contact me at the link to my e-mail.

We wage a religious-cultural struggle before the power struggle on the political plane can be resumed.

They should be waged at the same time. And even if you wouldn't win much at the political plane, it's still the way to rally people. I will give three examples. First, the communists in Russia: they never won more than a fifth of the votes in St. Petersburg, where they were at their strongest, but they still took the country. They had organized through a political party, even though they didn't believe in democracy.

Second, the National Socialists also organized in a party, and that was how they gained strength, even though they didn't believe in democracy. Eventually they abolished it.

Third, Sweden in present time. We had an organization called "Behåll Sverige svenskt," Keep Sweden Swedish, in the 80s. From it came the Swedish Democrats in 1988. BSS had some highly motivated members, but it just couldn't make it ranks swell nationwide, and I think at the most they were a couple of hundred. People come and go in a mere organization like that, because they don't think it's going anywhere. The SD, by contrast, has many more members. Because people think it is going somewhere. The SD will probably win seats in the Riksdag in 2006, and even if the party never gets a majority of the seats, and even if it would never enter the Riksdag at all, it is still a better way to rally people, spread the message and network. Because a whole lot more people will believe that a party can accomplish something than a mere organization.

So when you want to rekindle White values, a party is the best way, seats or no seats.

Hallstatt

....So when you want to rekindle White values, a party is the best way, seats or no seats.

It’s been tried. Pat Buchanan was destroyed very easily and labeled a racist by all the powers that be, for having anti-immigration policies, and a few other conservative principles, and Buchanan is not even a racist, he hates racists, as most Christian conservatives do. And as our race becomes a minority things won’t improve politically.

We need to work outside the political system for a long while before we can enter again with any strength, if we even want to enter again. My theme: religion bonds deeper and longer than political parties... I wouldn’t try to stop a party working to advance our race, I just don’t want to put my energy there.

Fredrik Haerne

So Patrick Buchanan doesn't win, and you think that's enough reason not to try? It isn't. Again, it doesn't matter if you can enter with strength or not: what matters is that a political party is the best way to gather strength! The best way to make people join an organization is to make it a party, for the reasons I have just listed. And again, the primary goal doesn't even have to be to win elections.

This isn't something we have to guess about: I have seen it many times. I won't claim to be the most experienced guy in the world at this, but I do have some experience, and I have seen many examples of dos and don'ts. Ask Rounder, he has experience of this too.

You want religion? Sell it within the party. Make an organization for the religion if you wish, but the best way to promote that religious org is to the party cadre, which will grow faster than the religious cadre.

Thank you, Jarl!

Cute post, Betsy Ross. And very womanly, being concerned first and foremost with smoothing things over and making everybody get along instead of focusing on the issue at hand. But you are wrong, I don't want to build a party. I already have a party. It's you Americans who don't, and you are too damn lazy to create one too.

"You need each other," etc: where did I say I don't care about philosophy, and don't think that's important? Granted, it was a good way for you to pretend that we both had something to give each other. But if you read my posts, you'll see that I do talk about selling philosophy, and I say it is best promoted within a party. So I was already in the enlightened synthesis state where you wanted to put me.

You build your party inside the system and I’ll build my religion, legally, outside.

I assume "inside the system" has a bad taste for you. But a legal religion is "inside the system" too, so welcome to the club. And between the two of us, I am the one who speak with experience of both nationalist organizations and parties. Your philosophy doesn't stand the shadow of a chance, unless you sell it through a party cadre. Creativity, Cosmotheism, White Revolution -- they are some of the countless examples of how to get nowhere fast, I'm sorry to say. Anti-immigration parties, on the other hand, keep growing all over Western Europe. Even should they never get to run more countries than Denmark, they are the best damn way of networking there is. You can talk about philosophy like your White Temple within a party about a thousand times easier than outside it.

America -- clubs, no growth, no nationalist progress
Europe -- parties, growth, nationalist progress

It's not a guessing game, we already know what works and what doesn't. You Americans just need to get your act together now. The country that dominates the globe doesn't have a nationalist party even of the size of Vlaams Blok, that's just weird. If Front National can affect its country's policies and help millions of patriots to network, then so should an American party be able to do. Right now, you are the death of us all.

And for the last time, so I don't get to see yet another post that forces me to repeat this: even if a party doesn't win by the ballot, it is the way to make people become active, because many will believe it can win by the ballot. So no more about "the system doesn't work," and "we can't vote ourselves free," since that isn't what I suggest. Don't know how many times I need to say it.

Antiochus Epiphanes

participation does that and much more. among the other ancillary benefits are 1) use of the media coverage of elections to advance the substantive message, 2) use of the electoral process to build organizational cadre and related social and economic contacts, 3) advancement of pro-White leader legitimacy in the eyes of the "lemmings" or "sheeple" by participating in the sham electoral process, and 4) use of the electoral process to denounce the elections themselves! In the US our "free speech" strictures are far looser than Europe, but we use them far less!

In short, you're not trying to win elections, but simply to use them, USE them, to build your "movement."

I covered this topic at length a couple months ago in the politics section. But I have to credit my thoughts on this topic from discussion had at the old EK group on yahoo, of which Vibeke Ostergaard often was the one to best identify the opportunities associated with electoral participation.

I think the position I am going to take is to acknowledge that most of you want to go the political, nonreligious route. I think the political route is a short term route, full of failure, whereas I think that the religious route can survive those failures and build a stronger and deeper foundation. Our political and demographic situation worsens every year, and so strategies will be changing.

My plan is to post comments when I think I can on my religion and my world view, hoping to connect as I can, but not to continually rehash the same comments.

Fredrik Haerne

It's not a political route per se: it's a way to network better, so you can get your philosophical, religious, political thoughts out. The only nationalist non-party organization I can think of that has had any serious growth is the KKK, and that doesn't seem to be repeating itself. The teachings of the Thule Society were best spread through the NSDAP: the TS was small, the NSDAP grew big. If it's good enough for Hitler to work this way, then it's good enough for me.

Think of the NA: man, I loved reading Dr. Pierce's new speech every week. His politics and his philosophy, Cosmotheism, it was all right on the money. But since it wasn't a party the NA didn't grow, even when its leader and others were working with it full-time. Had they spent as much time building an anti-immigration party, then that party would have had at least 200,000 members now, I am sure. That's a very moderate estimate. No, they couldn't have named the Jew if they wanted that many members, but hey, the Jewish Question and Life philosophy could be taught secretly within the party all the same, as it often is in Europe, making converts out of at least ten percent of the party members -- many of them being part of the most active and daring groups of the party.

This I am not just picking out of the blue. What we have done, you could be doing too.
