Now that VNN has several new admins can a flash upload site, similar to youtube and liveleak be created here on VNN ?
Before resigning I created the VNN digital library which has some videos in older formats. Perhaps a new flash upload site could be integrated somehow into it?
Can one of the admins check into this?

This might be something our new guy, Tim Pennington, might be able to help with. We'll see.

Uses p2p technology to simulate a tv channel. Setting it up on the server could be useful.
Like, make good videos run 24/7 or new stuff with no extra costs.

That's an interesting idea, don't know much about the use of P2P.
Regardless, the installation of the flash site ought not be too bad. Probably just configure some xml and then uncompress the software.
I say go for it, we can have Alex's speeches on Alex's site.
If you need advice or a some help let me know.

Hypothetical: Why use our bandwidth when we can use YTs?
Also, shouldn't we getting the msg out as opposed to simply preaching through the choir?
OTOH, any modern CMS like Drupal or Joomla (Dru is free) can handle what we're talking about here. Something simple could be done within a couple of days.
I was brain-storming my own build of Drupal CMS where the videos would still reside and stream from YT, but would be embedded into our sites. If someones account were termed on YT, that user simply would need to reup their videos, and update their YT referenced username to re-marry the two accounts. No reason it can't be done, it just takes more time than I've got.
