Notice the lovely blonde back-up singers. :D

Hell Yeah! I remember in the 80's it was a time when bands would put on great shows. This is one man I truly admire. He was a TRUE rebel who wrote from his own personal experiences and didnt write to fit any trends. He had many catchy hits such as "eyes without a face," "catch my fall," "hot in the city," "rebel yell," "white wedding," and a lot of other fun songs and videos, not counting his time in the pioneering punk band generation x in the 70's(they basically coined the phrase generation x by using it back then). He had an amazing look, was a great dresser, was extremely charismatic, and wild....and had women that fondled him time and time again, day in and day out(very good looking groupies, I might add ;)). I remember I went to one of the shows on the "Charmed life Tour" in 93' and there was a giant concrete fist on the top, in the middle of the stage, and when the show was about to begin and the smoke arose from the bottom of the stage floor, the middle finger on the fist rose up and flipped the crowd off, lol!

I mean, if you have ever seen his Vh1 "Behind the Music" that has got to be the best episode they have. For those of you that havent, one time they were in Thailand and trashed this hotel room for like 2 full weeks straight and when it was their time to check out, he refused to leave to the point where they had to tie him down on a fucking gurney and escort him out of the hotel lol.

He has had two children with a natural auburn haired, very fair, blue eyed, english woman. Here are some pictures:

Please tell me some of his more racist songs. I was trying to find some "Angry Aryans" on one of those digital downloading jukeboxes in a bar recently, and of course, there was none- when the younger brother of an old friend of mine suggested Billy Idol. Well, I remember Idol. I liked his energy and all, and enjoyed seeing him on a talk show now and then, but except for his biggest hits, with which I am just passingly familiar, I don't know his hardest lyrics.

Lol, I would guess that angry aryans wouldnt be on a public jukebox in a bar. It would be hilarious though if the bar owner in some town would secretly install one with wp music on it and lol, someone turns that shit up. I'd like to see the looks on the niggs faces.

Billy Idol was basically this, the new wave goth Elvis. Generation X was a pop punk band, then he branched off into more new wave/rock n roll type stuff but still kept the pop element. His voice is in the same vein as Elvis, Iggy Pop, Jim Morrison etc. They made real rock n roll music. Its that simple. But he used synths, he went techno and computerized with an entirely new concept album called "cyberpunk" in 93 or 94 which was a groundbreaking thing to do in the 90's. His Whiplash smile album is just plain hard rock and Charmed Life is hard rock with major blues elements to it. His music doesnt knock you over the head and isnt heavy metal so comparing him to angry aryans is like comparing apples and oranges. If you are looking for his heaviest stuff, and again...his guitarist was mainly a rhythm guitarist, go for any song on the whiplash smile album.

I'm like you about Billy Idol, I saw him on TV and liked what I heard on the radio but was not of the generation to be a fan/follower. So, anybody, did he put out any racialist tunes? Not that I've heard of.
To further expose my ignunce, who or what is "Angry Aryans"? I presume it's skinhead music, am I correct?
speaking of racialist music, Johhny Reb is still a classic in country sound and a hoot to listen to for anybody who doesn't care for niggers. David Allen Coe did a cover and maybe some of his own nigger-hatin' tunes. I hear they are popular among the frat-boys. I'd like to get a copy of that.
I never liked country til I started listening to get away from the ubiquitous nigger-noise. Now I like it, well, most of it.
I suspect some of you would rather suck a nigger's nose til his face caved in than listen to country (I had to say that) but, as OWG says, it makes good nigger-repellant.

Please tell me some of his more racist songs. There must have been a hell of a lot of gay niggers in the 80's because before they fucked it up, gratuatous sex in that era wasnt unheard of. I remember reading or hearing an interview of him and he labeled christianity a "human rip-off" and when asked about a report about if he was a "born again" he said they misheard him and he actually said he was "into porn again."I thought Idol was great. He was a riot. Here is a strong nordic white man who made his own rules and all the blonde women loved him. Fuck that Christian bullshit. Both in looks and in actions he makes the niggers and spics look like childs play. Im sure there would be nothing like seeing him there on that stage with those women...thats how its MEANT TO BE. Now what do we have? Nigger males bumpin and grindin all on white women? Rock on Idol.

You dont really get out much do you? I can tell by your posts, "socially isolated" just rings through them all. I am not trying to get any trouble with anyone here. Everyone else has just politely left any 2 cents they had. I just joined this forum and made this post in the music forum of the site and I look forward to adding to many of the more serious discussions here and making threads. If thats honestly all you can add, hey, how about this...find something to do worthwhile with your time, if you can. No one is forcing you to view the thread. As well, change the avatar...the annoying bitch nordicpower88 uses that. Have you got a fetish for little blonde girls bitch? Its a stupid and effeminate avatar.

I always liked Idol, and in fact a "best of Cd" has ridden in my auto CD magazine the past couple months along with some bluegrass, Wagner, and Bound for Glory.

White Wedding, best song hands down.

The early stuff has a British working class feeling to it which to me an American makes it seem a little similar to Skrewdriver.

Billy's washed up now, too much dope probably.

I saw him on tour in a parking lot at a casino last summer. He put on a good show if you like Billy Idol. He drew quite a crowd of young kids too, and they seemed to be enjoying the show. He was really into it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA thats the perfect line to start off your tenure on VNN. Welcome aboard kid!

I have the Rebel Yell album. You know how he does that scream thing? Its like, "with a rebel yell she cried more, more, more, *scream thing*"

Well my niece has a little hamster and when I was over there one night it was in its ball running around the house getting some excercise and it got stuck behind the couch. So I picked it up from behind there and put in back down on the floor in the middle of the room so it could continue running. I must have put it down too fast because it screamed in horror like Billy Idol when I put it back down.

Billy cracks me up. Dig his music too.

Who gives a shit if he supports the 14 words.

He's not a fucking nigger. He at least went into the white realm with futuristic music. Adam in chains, wasteland, etc are sick. He's turned on a lot of blonde girls to white guys again via the whole 80s revival. That's a good thing. The only reason why music sucks in the mainstream is because of mtv.

I checked. On http://www.users.voicenet.com/~generic/celeb.html you can see how many seemingly innocent artists have jewish names but Billy Idol isn't one of them. His real name is William Broad.

He hooked up with jewish Siouxie (from the Banshees) and that is the only jewish connection I could find.

Did he even show confederate symbols in his clips (good) or show racetraitory especially the nigger-white girl kind (kikish)?

remember the "dancing with myself video?" kind of post-apocalyptic, with him on top of a skyscraper. all these nogs crawl up the building and then he blasts them to smithereens. how can you not like that? it's a page out of our playbook isnt it?

yep I remember there were white types in with all those "zombies" and they were all covered with light brown dust, but wasnt that a deliberate ploy to disguise the racial undertone? LOL

How can Siouxsie be a Jew?

http://www.punk77.co.uk/graphics/nazi1.JPG

Belsen Was A Gas.

Belsen was a gas / I read the other day / About the open graves where all the jews all lay

Life is fun,and / wish you all were here / Was what they wrote on postcards / To who they held dear.

Chorus. Belsen was divine if you survived the train / then when you got inside its auf wiedersein.

All this nazi dress up by Siouxsie herself when she wore all of that on the anniversary of d-day or something Lol and the anti-jew lyrics by the Sex Pistols and and you're saying she's a jew? I don't believe that their relationship(Billy Idol and her) was actually to the point of dating, however, they were both very good friends in a group that was called the Bromely Contingent and they all spread off into their own collective punk bands eventually.

Born William Michael Albert Broad on November 30, 1955, in Middlesex, England, the youngster relocated with his family for a brief spell to New York, before returning back to England. After a stint at Sussex University only last a year, Broad found himself as part of a group of teen punk rockers who befriended and followed the Sex Pistols, known as "the Bromley Contingent" (a member of this colorful group of characters was Siouxsie Sioux, eventual leader of Siouxsie & the Banshees).

I have seen his parents, they look like typical upper middle class Britons to me. I will post if I can find.

And what kind of Jew wears that without even knowing that the Jews are indeed remembering on that day? Show the interview or shut the fuck up. I read a LEGIT interview that stated how she did that without knowing that it was a day in memory for the Jews. She must be one self hating Jew then. As far as the song israel, how do you actually take that as some pro-jewish and for that matter pro-zionist theme song? Rock and Roll has been judaicized from the very, very beginning.

The plan was to get whites to perform like Negroes so that white teenagers would buy into it. Ka-ching!

The jewish label owners, songwriters, promoters and producers couldn't believe their luck when it took off in the goyische community.

I used to worship at the Altar myself in the '70's. Same shit, different generation. Make white kids rebellious and hard to handle, breaking up traditional white families.

It's amazing that you young'uns are so meticulous in pointing out jewish control in our society but give rock and roll music a pass. Your ox is getting gored and that would hurt.

Country music, that last bastion of white musicians, has largely been turned into a jewish, air-brushed, tits and ass video format, with a handful of purists hanging on by their fingertips.

Rock on,

Keystone

Yeah I'll give it a pass. I love music. R-n-R and otherwise. It (when done right) is an artform that goes so far beyond "nigger & jew". Today I was driving and listening to Motörhead's "Deaf Forever". If that isn't a Viking battle call, I'll eat my horned helmet.

I understand your point but that is not to say that rock legends haven't been made and aren't worth discussing from the 60's,70's, and even 80's. Do they have rock/blues music is sub-saharan africa...was it invented there? There is honestly some great music that has been made. Did you see Nigger teenagers swooning and emulating The Doors and Led Zeplin like our whites do rap music? Not everything has to be listening to Richard Wagner, fuckin boring. To me, nowadays it looks like white teenagers could use a little rebellion, toughness, and so-called negroe behavior so they start saying fuck you to the establishment and stop being such pussies that listen to their fuckin pop punk and nigger rap bullshit. Just because there are some white men who have a fuck you attitude and like having a good time doesn't mean that they are supporting the Jews. You can be un-christian and still have strong ties to your tribe and family.

Oi, Dicknutz. #1. She didn't wear the Nazi garb just one day. She wore that gear practically for the whole of 1976. The lyrics to Israel are as follows:

Little orphans in the snow
With nowhere to call a home
Start their singing
Waiting through the summertime
To thaw your hearts in wintertime
That's why they're singing...
Waiting for a sign to turn blood into wine
The sweet taste in your mouth...turned bitter in its glass
Israel...in Israel
Israel...in Israel
Shattered fragments of the past
Meet in veins on the stained glass
Like the lifeline in your palm
Red and green reflects the scene
Of a long forgotten dream
There were princes and there were kings
Now hidden in disguise...cheap wrappings of lies
Keep your heart alive with a song from inside
Even though we're all alone
We are never on our own when we're singing
There's a man who's looking in
And he smiles a toothless grin
Because he's singing...
See some people shine with glee
But their song is jealousy
Their hate is clanging...maddening
In Israel...will they sing Happy Noel?
Israel...in Israel
Israel...in Israel
In Israel will they sing Happy Noel?

And in the video for it she was wearing a shirt w/ the star of david on it. I cannot find the interview where she talked about being jewish, because I read it about 1981. But I remember plainly her stating that she was a jew. I'll have to dig out my copy of "England's Dreaming" and find where there is a reference to her jewishness. So if Led led zeppelin wrote a song about Africa would you be saying that they are nigger quadroons or something? You are going to have to prove what you are saying to be credible then I'll be quiet. Like what you stated about Bromely, if you're American then you would know, would know? She was wearing the shirt because that was the theme of the video and song. I never said that she wore the outfit one time, I stated about that one instance with the controversy. I'll look for the interview. I mean, sid vicious wore nazi shirts yet had a kike girlfriend so its not like I am denying that there may or may not be a few kikes in the woodpile with this girl, the same thing is said about Hitler judging from his looks, by people, but it is never proven, ever. There are many talented Jews in music, face it. You would think she would be on Jewhoo and they would want to claim her because she is obviously one of the best female voices in music, regardless of her ancestry. Her band wrote very abstract music and most of the songs are very hard to understand as far as the meanings are concerned. But none the less the instrumentation is top notch like her voice.

This one would honestly be a shame for me lol. I do like their music and if I do find somewhere set in stone where she states about this ancestry I'll report back. If I do find it, Im not a fanatic, its not like I am going to dislike them because I found this out. I cant think of how many wn's are guns n roses fans...Slash, hello? Well I could say, Brighton England is known for its cross dressers right here sitting on my computer in america, to claim to know what its like there, if we discuss homosexuals...just to say something.

Siouxsie sings a Hillbilly tune? Wow. Now I've heard it all
On the album called “Through the Looking Glass”, the 4th song “This Wheel’s on Fire” seems tailor made to attract a crowd who otherwise would spend their spare change on “Country-Western” recordings. I guess it depends on the mood one’s in. This song sounds refined tonight, probably because of nostalgic reasons. They have great hair-cuts, but like the band “Blondie”, I lose respect when a great band tries to attract business in odd places. I’m simply against comprimising art. This is 1 point of which I don't fully agree with the 3rd Reich. I'm hesitant in declaring something "Decadent Art" except in cases like this

Rock Legends? WTF? Think about the meaning of "legend". Stupid, drunken, dead Jim Morrison is a legend? Drug-addled, black-blues thief Jimmy Page is a "legend"? Mostly drug-saturated, mostly dead punk musicians are "legends"?

Modern pop musicians who can't play their instruments or sing without electronic studio tricks are "legends"?

Maybe you've not subscribed to cable lately. Look at the "music" that's being promoted by your favorite tribe. Disgusting, surreal, navel-gazing sex-romps.

"Bling-bling" culture. Thanks, idiot generation. Wake up before it's too late. Wagner is heaven compared to your multi-culti, big-bootie hell.

Bloody hell, Keystone, Nordblod, Adamic Man(Richard Simmons looking gay) get lives, get laid…period. I think you would actually have more of a decent chance at it if you got a room together, good on ya. :D

To the person who called The Rude Dude Billy fuckin Idol a Jew, you are fuckin blind. Perhaps you could take some pointers? All your precious blonde women and I myself would take someone like Idol over you dorks any day. Why do you think your women are going with Tyrone to attempt to get some semblance of an actual good time? Get out more, whingers. I think so because the puritanical view in your heads of a “perfect society” of clones of each other who walk around in boy and girl scout uniforms, eat disgusting sauerkraut and sausages, and listen to nothing but classical music isn’t perfect at all…it in fact sucks puritanical dick you bunch of Hitler dick sucking fags. Now, I am not downgrading the accomplishments of Hitler, but the fact is, that is a dead period in history and it will never be repeated.

Paul (with the Jewish first name, I pictured a guy who looks like the kike paul from the wonder years sitcom) was right. Billy Idol’s guitarist Steve Stevens is a non-practicing Jew. Van Halen was a better band when Jewish David Lee Roth was the front man for them, your point? This is rock n roll music, not politics and I doubt any of the Jews in rock n roll are fuckin Zionists. Who cares if William Broad follows the 14 words? Are following those 14 words going to actually get us anywhere and stop the disaster? No. He also has a beautiful little daughter and son who both have his piercing blue eyes and good looks.

Here is a guy who was actually a cool, truly rebellious, very good looking, white guy, who gets laid!!! WOW

His music wasn’t just screaming down a mic with out of tune guitars about how much his life sucks and how he wants to die or kill someone!!!! WOW

He had both total rocker and radio friendly songs!!! WOW

If its any advice to the small number of people who left negative comments…I don’t think Idol really cares. :D

Hmm...Dalion? Sounds like a typical limey name to me :D.

Don't worry though, I wouldn't count on her being Jewish. I am vaguely familar with their music. They had one song which was for one of the Batman films(Batman Returns I believe), called "face to face." It's a really sexy song and really catches the aura of Catwoman. Johnny Rotten, now there's a übermick.

Compared to now, MTV was a national-socialist propaganda-channel in the eighties. :D Well, almost. Aryan bands like Durand Durand, Spandau Ballet (when Spandau was the prison of Rudolf Hess), Joy Division with "Did you all forget Rudolf Hess?"

On the other hand, nigger gangster hop hip jew kike anti-aryan ape sounds simply didn't exist then, so MTV couldn't play it. The only niggermusic played was the disco kike/drugs garbage.

I wonder if Rothstein was owner then already.

Billy Idol already did good for the Aryan Race by having two aryan kids and making music that is not anti-aryan, it would be even better for him to speak out for the Aryan Race but that would destroy his career completely. Something that I am not willing to do to myself and don't ask from anyone else. Only few want to become martyrs.

Yeah anyway, as someone said, if you listen to the earlier stuff, it’s like British working class. Gothic Elvis all the way. Billy Idol's secret is one that he shares with, Trent Reznor--the ability to take a pop base and disguise it with layers of other genres, most notably hard rock. This can be seen with the Rebel Yell album. The guitarist really is a rhythm guitar genius, who most notably caught the souls of a lot of women as I’ve said. But that was the point, to sex a lot of people up in the 80’s. I mean come on, Idol was kicked out of the boy scouts when he was 5 for making out with a girl. I had the pleasure of finally being old enough and being able to go to one of the shows, honestly, that arena would have been a skinhead paradise. There were a HELL of a lot of groupies there, in particular blonde ones. Face it, we’re in competition to breed and well, seemingly competition just to fuck in general, and Billy Idol has defeated the nigger rappers in taking what is sacred from you as far as shear number. Rothstein puts in that White Wedding video again he would make the mistake of making white women attracted to white guys again. Fuck anyone who doesn’t get it, because they’re not getting laid anyway. Even now, I am sure he could take 2 women to bed. So, it has got that mainstream appeal and radio friendly appeal which is great for the women, youth, and trend lovers, but at the same time has such a razor sharp edge for the cult fans and male rock n roll fans, very eclectic. That’s why they are multi-platinum artists, luvs. As well, his ultra-punkish appeal and stage presence are a positive.

One of the places they lived during Billy’s and his sisters childhood.

Broad changed his last name to Idol because in the punk rock movement (the real and only one, mainly in the UK and New York) people were naming themselves, “Vicious,” “Scabies,” and “VD” and just really horrible stuff like that, so Idol decided to go a different route and be different and creative like he always has like cyberpunk is a computerized record.

He went in a total different direction than who he followed, the Sex Pistols. He was in a punk band called, Chelsea with Tony James and others, before he spread off into the big one, Generation X, in which they generally did coin that term. Generation X was one of the most popular pop-punk bands to start the punk rock movement. When he came into America he branched off into more hard rock/new wave. I would liken Billy Idol to a pirate who has lived life to the fullest, fuller than life would allow. More pirate, less Hitler dick sucking fags. A lot of these twits todays, you’re not “hardcore” or a rebel at all, you’re a loser. I like to consider Billy Idol’s cd’s sort of like a diary. This is really a diary of where he is/was at that point in time. He wrote a lot of songs that got people on the dance floor, he wrote a lot of songs that I know for a fact that a lot of women liked to have sex to, for instance, “dead next door.” He really played for himself. If you listen to any of those cd’s it transforms you back into a very fun and exciting era to be alive, the 1980’s. The MTV now is not the MTV of the 1980’s and many of the iconic fore-bearers like Idol can probably attest to that. :D

Hmmm, actually the majority of early MTV groups were pretty good, which is why it got so popular.

The Stones had a lot of good music, but they had that nigger/ghetto/heroin chic persona that made a lot of their videos a turn-off.

Duran Duran had the dreamy-ish video "Lonely In Your Nightmare" that was just great, the female in it unfortunately was not White, extremely attractive and exotic, with a Keltic look but with dark skin. She looked just like my One True Love who was Irish blond/blue, strange. Most of their videos were filmed on Sri Lanka before the ehnic fighting got so intense, so I guess that was her ethnicity.

The Cars

Berlin, I was totally infatuated (in lust? Ha) with their petite singer Teri Nunn

I didn't like Thomas Dolby's music much but he had great videos.

And of course a lot of the heavier rock groups, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, et al.

About anything Georgio Moroder wrote, he did the soundtracks for American Gigilo, Flashdance, Metropolis etc,

I dumped cable TV (and mtv) about '87 when the madonna video came out, the one where she is French-kissing the really ugly nig while the Klan burns down the church

This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end

Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes...again

Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need...of some...stranger's hand
In a...desperate land

Lost in a Roman...wilderness of pain
And all the children are insane
All the children are insane
Waiting for the summer rain, yeah

There's danger on the edge of town
Ride the King's highway, baby
Weird scenes inside the gold mine
Ride the highway west, baby

Ride the snake, ride the snake
To the lake, the ancient lake, baby
The snake is long, seven miles
Ride the snake...he's old, and his skin is cold

The west is the best
The west is the best
Get here, and we'll do the rest

The blue bus is callin' us
The blue bus is callin' us
Driver, where you taken' us

The killer awoke before dawn, he put his boots on
He took a face from the ancient gallery
And he walked on down the hall
He went into the room where his sister lived, and...then he
Paid a visit to his brother, and then he
He walked on down the hall, and
And he came to a door...and he looked inside
Father, yes son, I want to kill you
Mother...I want to...fuck you

C'mon baby, take a chance with us
C'mon baby, take a chance with us
C'mon baby, take a chance with us
And meet me at the back of the blue bus
Doin' a blue rock
On a blue bus
Doin' a blue rock
C'mon, yeah

Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill

This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end

It hurts to set you free
But you'll never follow me
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die

This is the end

"Father, I want to kill you"
"Mother, I want to fuck you"

It was mainly known amongst the groupies and their rock stars and the rock stars and their porn star girlfriends. A few female friends of mine and myself as well.... I have heard Idol speak in an interview right after his motorcycle accident on what other female fans of his do.. For instance Axel Rose used to have sex with Eron Everly to the 'the dead next door' song. But as far as the question, during sex probably the 'flesh for fantasy' remix off the Vital Idol Album. Not for romantic sex, raunchy sex. There is a slowed version of it too, there are many remixes but the slowed one that I have on a cd from Japan would be better. For more romantic stuff the hypnosis song, 'Adam in chains.'

To get in the mood, probably a little 'cradle of love' or 'adam in chains.' Others....'love unchained' 'mark of caine' and a few others...

But there are many songs that can get women in the mood its just that songs from this guy did it for porn stars like another one I know of and groupies of other rock stars. I don't know, maybe thats a good thing to you. :D

Rock on,

Keystone

Jews always controlled pop music, and always pushed weird black music on whites, like swing and jazz, but only in the TV generation did they really have success getting the kids away from their parents. This was because rock was very samey to blue grass (country Anglo) music and TV could sell anything to a kid.

Bands start doing these things just before going into retirement, when they haven't earned a comfortable living.
Harry started overeating. Something especially she shouldn't have done. Her type are foxy when thin, but are always border line pigs ready to explode when over fed.

Man please, that nigger blues shit...that is nothing like some good ole down home southern type rock like some Merle Haggard or something. That got a lot of its influence from bluegrass as a lot of rock music has. That is real southern music, not the pop country, Toby Keith bullshit, that bleeds our ears today. LOL

But yeah, on Billy Idol. See, he is more of a ladies man. But honestly that guy has got such a rock n roll, in your face attitude, it makes all the difference. Basically, I really like that guys style. He seems like the type of guy that is moving a mile a minute and his head is just thinking constantly...its just like, boom. Ever heard:

Fan: "are you Billy Idol?"
Billy Idol: "Fuck You!"
Fan: "Yeah you're Billy Idol!"

Haha..anyway..I'd shoot some shots in the air for this guy. He has led a full life on his own terms. Of course, rebel yell man, he's got that confederate flag guitar there. A long time from now lets all raise our fists and give a shot in the air and send this prick to Valhalla. :D

To be succesful as a mainstream artist you have to do as the kikenvermin tells you and I don't blame Debbie Harry for doing just that. Any popular White who starts acting like a White in the media will be destroyed by the media.

http://kasey.carolina.net/debbie/noframes.htm has a shitload of links by "Kasy Katz".

DH now. As you can see the kike that cut her face didn't keep his scalpel straight. She should have picked David Duke's surgeon.

Food and rock n roll dont mix man. :D

A lot of the musicians tried to copy Bowie's look. That kind of gaunt, skinny, appearence. But I am sure drugs could have that sort of effect. Look at Iggy Pop.

I think the working class elements of some of the early stuff is good for wn and again, here is a guy that had a dream of rock stardom and the balls to call himself, 'Idol' and he went from the UK to New York, and accomplished it. I have a niece who is 16, just beautiful, she honestly could be on one of the third reich posters, and thats why I get so concerned that she is listening to this rap crap out there. But that is what the Jews want us to be, cold, boring, unfun, and puritanical. So if we are that way our people are going to find relief in the african tribe music(rap).

The confederates were for the most part hardcore Christians, where are they?

I was watching an 83' new years eve party a few months ago and it was amazing to watch and actually be happy for a new year and not be hoping for some type of apocalypse, or wondering if there was going to be another terrorist attack.

Billy Idol was there and rocked the place out, he did all his solo hits and some Generation X stuff. There were absolutely NO non-whites in the audience, at this party, from what I saw. It was amazing. The 80's were definately a fun time.

Billy Idol mastered what a lot of rappers have mastered and white bands today have failed to do. Billy Idol provided the masses with a cool image, he had radio-friendly hits as well as great ones for hardcore fans, and he was liked by the youth, both male and female. Something that rappers have mastered now, which is why they are so successful today. You will also notice that Billy Idol wrote songs that were sexy and about love as well, something that rappers do as well. I work with a black lady and people were having a discussion about rock music, and this token black lady was talking about how white guys have lost their edge, have no showmanship, and continously whine today lyrically and are in no way innovative.

I mean really, why would some teen girl who likes having a good time want to listen to Nickelback? It's corny, music is about fun and escapism.

I don't know what it is with white bands these days, they are either totally whiney and wimpy or depressing with their lyrics. Not to mention that today there are absolutely no innovative groups or creativity at all. Nirvana was a great band, however, they have spawned so many mediocre rip offs of themselves.

Billy Idol added to the history of rock n roll in the early stages of the punk movement. He did a lot for bringing viewers to mtv, he did a lot for radio in the 80's, and when he branched off, he did a lot for rock n roll. I also liked his part in the movie, 'The wedding singer.'

Alright I am downloading em now. I kind of like this song personality crisis. ;)

Yeah, 'The End' is one of the greatest and saddest songs of all time. That is a legendary band. What are some of your favorite doors songs?
You know they are touring again, its The Doors of the 21st century with the lead singer from The Cult doing vocals I believe.

THE finest, saddest and most tragically poignant of the Doors material is "When The Musics Over." It takes over from where "The End" left off.

Thanks for the info Dagler. I have been a long time reader of VNN forum and I bought some concerts and the Behind the Music series on ebay. I wasn't disappointed, I watched one of the concerts yesterday.

This was a totally kick ass concert. It was one of the best that I have watched live on dvd. This guy has so much charisma and is so larger than life. You can’t teach that. The crowd was really into it and sang along with every song. His voice carried throughout the arena and surprised me with it’s range time and time again.

Lol

He was like “yipee kay yay mother fucker” like Bruce Willis in ‘Die Hard’ as he appeared from this door from the back of the stage with smoke, and I believe he had his walking stick that he used when he had his motorcycle accident.

I wish that I had discovered him sooner as I have been looking to broaden my cd collection. Too much death metal now lol.

I really like that song, ‘Trouble with the sweet stuff,’ that they did during the beginning. The choreography with those 2 blondes in the back was very well done and they were having a great time.

The audience was pretty much composed of young adult guys and some with their girlfriends. As well as groups of some girls.

‘White Wedding’ was done surprisingly at the beginning of the concert when the crowd finally settled down and he was like, “wedding bells,” into the mic with that honey and razor blades voice of his and clanged the guitar lol and they started into that song.

I like the guitar part at the very beginning of that song. They also did like a 8 minute rock out after the first song.

I also might add that in the middle of the concert he was saying, “eat my asshole mother fucker,” to someone in the audience. I don’t know if it was a fan or a camera guy or what. lol

I also watched the vh1 behind the music special that I got from ebay as well. He strikes me as the type of guy who was a youth during a troublesome time in England and then a group like the Sex Pistols came out--that is going to start a revolution. A lot of the groups that sprung from that whole punk era died out rather quickly but it seems that Broad is the one of the ones who got mainstream success.

just strikes me as William Broad, student at Sussex University who would go on to become a writer is also an avid fan of rock music.

Hangs out with Siouxsie Sioux and a group of other people and follows the Sex Pistols around like many did and decided to give back and contribute to what feelings rock music gave him, an escape.

He seems like a real cool guy who doesn’t take himself too seriously and doesn’t expect people to. I kept thinking to myself while I was watching, “14 words, 14 words, must continue to fight for my race on my computer screen, “ while watching lol.

Thanks for the thread Dagler. I’ll dl some of his songs that you listed. He is one of the coolest guys I've seen.

I also downloaded some Siouxsie and the Banshees on kazaa, a song called...'spellbound.' I like it, she actually sounds French in it. Is she originally from the UK, Dagler?

This is one, TALENTED Jew. It's so nice to hear a soothing female voice that isn't a 300 pound nigger bitch over emphasizing notes with her "soul voice." That is all I hear today, even from white women.

It figures that a Jew would be the one to perform the right way. I have never said that Jews were not talented. This music is like haunting, melodic, new wave ( goth).

I just read that she is married to a band member named 'Budgie?' A white Englishman from the band? She isn't a liberal nigger lover either?

That’s cool, I will still check them out. Especially as I am reading that they billed her as the female equivalent to Sid Vicious/Johnny Rotten? Haha, I am not that familiar with the original punk era but I knew that there had to be some Jews in the woodwork leading the chaos.

Ranger doesn't ring the bell. I remember big John from Circle One, though. You guys were on the other side of the world, mate. Fuck ya, I remember that gig, I think. With the Subs in Huntington Park? We broke in the backroom and filled all of our skins and bombers with mass cans of Bud. Then, the copppers broke in, and we were huckin' brews at the pigs outside. Then I got seperated from all my pals, and hid under some spick's porch when the pigs chased me. Woke up in the mornin' and somehow my car didn't get thrashed. That was a classic riot, way better than any of the Olympic ones.

John Circle One. What a fuckin' psycho. I ran into him once sliding into a window of a bathroom at Sun Valley Sportsmans Lodge. I thought I was done for. I survived.

At the Exploited/Subs riot I had a similar time. But I was on the outside chucking bottles of beer (empty of course) at the pigs. I was also talking to Jim from Poseur when Jim yelled out:"Pig!" I turned and a riot cop cased me to hell and back, but I jumped over a dumpster and the fucker went right into it! I kept moving and warned these punx that I saw that Riot Pigs where on they're way, then slid under a car and watched the riot squad boots rumble past. I remember a lot more about that night because it was one crazy motherfucker. Yes, way better than the Olympic Riots! LOL! Remember the SIR riot?

Bullshit Crass, we'll free the Punks you've injected

Classic Special Duties. Remember those guys? I had 'em on a sleeve to piss off all the growing number of lefties peace scum.

Special Duties w/ Steve Ignorant! Taking the piss outta Steve Arrogant from CRASS. Oh yes. I will admit to really digging Crucifix. Very Dischargesque. I know, Gook front man. How about Battalion of Saints? bout the only thing I remember coming outta San Diego.

Sir studios or something? Not off-hand, who played? It might joggle my memory. Ya, that Subs gig, I was scared, the cop was yelling what he was gonna do to me, it wasn't cool. I'm glad I had my Docs on and not creeps that night. So you didn't go in the gig? Actually we didn't throw the piss at the cops inside, but as soon as we got outside. Dumbass me wanted to keep the beer, till all my pals started nickin' my pockets. lol... Fuck, there was an army of them cops that night.

Duties was a hoot, eh? Battalion had a big fat spick singer. George, I think his name was. I went to SDSU right after High School, so I've always had good friends in Diego. I never liked 'em, I liked the tighter, more Chron-gen sounding type leather bands & all the newer Skin bands of the time.

Here's a funny one on Ness. This is like a week after I moved to Diego in '82, and I went to see S.D. play. I didn't know a soul, so I kinda kept my mouth shut. Well, Diego always had a group of fucks called S.D.S.H.( san diego sk...) They were retards, and half spicks. There was one fucked beaner called Arturo. Fucker woulda' snapped my neck; evil, tough, spick, bastard. Long story short, he's gotta prove himself to Ness. Fuck, it was pretty close. Old Ness could box back then. He eventually walloped Ness, but after seeing what Arturo did to people in the following years, I respected the Fullerton lad a lot after that brawl. * this concludes your punk rock moment in history*

Yeah, SIR Studios. There was a gig w/ TSOL and some others. Doesn't matter as I wasn't there either! I heard from my girlfriend at the time that it went off. Pig city.

At The Exploited gig I was wearing my creepers! It's all I had at the time. Still, I could outrun the pigs in them. I still want my $10 or whatever from that gig. Paid in advance and got to go to a riot in a fucked part of town. Sweet.

Well this olde punk is hitting the rack. PM me tomorrow Intrepid. Yer bringing up stuff that I had forgotten. Someone's gonna die tonight, Oi! Oi! Oi! The boys are out tonight!

Yep, I was there. Funny thing, though. What I remember most was Jack doing this peace thing. Something like, "everyone sit down and stay still, don't move, the cops won't harm you if you don't resist." That dude had some meglomaniacal, Buddahead thoughts some times. Fucker thought he was Dave Vanian or something - sans the voice. He could pull off the first ep and album, which both ripped, but that orange 60's-style album was way weak. lol...

Cheers, I'll yack at ya later.

"It's the American in me that never wonders why, Kennedy was murdered by the FBI!

Ask not what you can do for your country, but what your country's been doing to You!"

Cool lyrics in the time of Journey & Foreigner.

Ain't that the Gods fuckin' truth. I always loved the feathered hair-parted-in-the-middle, huge blue-combed hanging out the back pocket, Reo T-shirt-wearin', bong loadin', Nike wearin' dipshit who sat at ticketmaster to pay 80 bucks to watch some burnouts 2.2 miles away on a video screen. Didn't you, too? Muhahahah :D

I just found an Mpeg on the Mule of the song (American in..). I haven't got it yet, but I'll tell you if it's worth hunting down. Funny thing, it's only 4.35MB. It must just be a snippet or something.

Funny thing is back then I thought the music scene couldn't get any worse! Bwahahahaha!!! (wipeing away bitter tears of rage).
