I think we can assume by now that the "threat to the President" business and alleged Secret Service involvement was some kind of Bill White hoax. If there had ever been any bona fide threat to the President that the Feds were taking even remotely seriously, there would have been an arrest by now. You may recall that a couple of morons actually DID do stupid things like e-mailing threats to the White House in the past, and they were arrested within 24 hours. The Establishment moves FAST when one of their pet figureheads is threatened.

But this brings up a very interesting question. The threat was real. It was on Overthrow. I saw it. It was definitely a Federal felony. So why HASN'T there been an arrest, if only an arrest of White himself? This is the third time that White has posted death threats on his website, once against Kevin Strom, once against Madeleine Albright, and once against the President of the United States. And he is GETTING AWAY WITH IT. Whuzzup with that?

White could be a federal plant. His whole bio could be concocted. His parents could be fakes. The paper work we have seen showing his father's birthdate and what not, could be federal plant. His mother who answers the phone at that number that was listed? Could be a federal agent.
It could all be a set up to provide cover for his eventual dropping out of sight

Recently Bill cited his experience as a 'real' IT person. Given his supposed expertise in this area, I find it hard to believe he would allow his administrator credentials on his flagship website to be compromised, stolen hard drive or not (and who knows if that is even true).

In other words, Occam's razor dictates that Bill put the threatening message there himself and then mucked with the logs (probably in mysql) to make it look like it originiated from California. Note that the IPs were not displayed until well after the threat is posted.

Regardless of who put the message there, I wouldn't have believed such a message could stand for so long. It doesn't make sense. Perhaps he is stark raving mad and the secret serv hasn't seen it yet. Or as already suggested, perhaps he is a federal agent.

I was going to razz him further about his IT skills, but I won't post on that board now. He's too nuts.

I don't blame you to. Actually doing something to help white nationalism takes courage, something that a lot of racialist lack when it comes down to it. I agree. Bill White quite clearly committed a serious crime. Even if he is right in his claim that he was hacked, I can't imagine the Feds allowing the threat to remain on his board like that and I frankly can't imagine White being free and able to continue posting bullshit on Overthrow.

This is post 9/11 when the government's spy agencies are searching library records to see what books people are reading and hunting down and harassing anyone who takes part in an anti-war demonstration. Yet we have six days now and no one has been arrested for a direct, outright threat against the life of the President and a public statement of intention to commit terrorist acts?
