No slurs.
No cursing.
No flaming.
This is a Civil forum. Speech is free, but the form we will enforce is respectful and debate-advancing. Try to use correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. Comport yourself as though you are trying to win people over. Armed people who don't like being insulted.
If you can't cope with these rules, refrain from posting in Civil forum, stick to Main forum. If you deliberately end-run them, as can be done with any code -- that is, if you violate the spirit we seek and WILL achieve in this forum -- your posts will be deleted. We are not children. You know what I'm looking for. This is a best behavior forum meant to develop ideas, and encourage teamwork, and attract new investigators.
If there are other rules I've forgotten, I'll add them later.
We're looking for respectful, high-level discourse, and beyond that, "wow" us in your own special way.

No slurs. ......
This won’t be easy for Archie Bunker types as I. I’d have to reverse translate.
How are we supposed to substitute the N word, for example? Should we refer to Ns as Negro Sapiens? To use the term, “Those of sub-Saharan Origin” would be quite lengthy, especially when repetetive. To use the phrases, “Bone Thug” and “Baller” might seem low brow for this thread.
Or take, for instance, the G word. Are we to use, “Those of Far East Origin South Of Siberia”?
Perhaps someone can formulate a theosaurus of non-slurs without it ending up as an Ambrose Bierce styled dictionary

Oh come on. "Blacks" works just fine. "African Americans" if you're feeling sassy. ""East Asians" (or "Japanese" or "Chinese" or "Koreans" if you want to be more specific), "Southeast Asians" (or "Thai" or "Vietnamese" etc.), "South Asians" (or "Indians" or "Pakistanis"), "Arabs", "Jews", "Whites", "Mestizos", "Mediterraneans", "Nordics" all work too. And if you can't handle this PC/non-offensive talk, you can take your Archie Bunker self back to the Main Discussion Forum where we'll still have fun with our epithets.

King Lampshade Maker and all his other nicks along with Arcadia are the ones who come to mind. Then again, everyone is free to post here (obviously) just as long as you can abide by the rules. Although I'm afraid some people might and already are having a hard time doing so. Anyway enough about that, follow the rules and everything is fine.

jews like Yihoods and nig/wig anti trash are allowed in heer to post? Then what is the purpose of the opposition forum? I say keep the putrid jooish spew in the ghetto (opp forum) and outta this moderated area, which should be Whites Only. Where in the hell do these scum ever offer us civility and discussion on the WWW, or anywhere else for that matter? Keep the garbage out!

Ask Linder. I myself would like to confine anti's to Opp but hey I dont make any rules here. He said they could post in those sections as long as they are "civil". But the problem is, since they are "antis" people are going to argue with them and how do you argue and be "civil" at the same time. Can be a tad difficult.
I agree though, whats the point of having an Opposition Forum if antis are going to go in our sections and argue in there?

It's really very easy, if you are truthful and have a pretty good idea of what you are talking about.
It's the so-called "anti" racists, not us, who are most lacking in honesty and grasp of the facts, and that is precisely why it is they, not us, who ultimately, always have to resort to dishonest and diversionary ruses such as ad hominem attacks, and/or the shouting down, censorship, or censure of one's opponents. We may do some of those things (insults, particularly) because insults are gratuitous and require less effort, and they may actually be true ("liar," etc.) and because we tire of refuting the same popular fallacies over and over; but instead, it would very likely be more effective in awakening other Whites if we would either
a.) ignore the most peurile and obvious flame-bait ("negroes are irresistible to most white women," etc.)
b.) point out the obfuscations, lies, and half-lies in the anti-white's argument-- if they actually have one, that is.
The greatest concession you can give to a dishonest, rude, and/or lazy opponent in a debate is adoption of their dishonorable and false tactics, hence becoming indistinguishable from them. I would see this occuring at the SF board in the opposition section all the time (when I was a 'regular' there) and wonder why they (at least those of them who ought to know better) even bothered.

Right, Ossian.
I gave a shot at the "Samson Option" thread and it was clear Yahodi (sp?) was not going to do anything but repeat a few of his canards and call us names. Really irritating because there's a few issues that both sides could really go to town on, if they played by the rules Alex put down.
The antis really won't hold up their end of the log on this. I'd just keep the Opposition Forum and leave it at that.

Hmmm, I said 'heck' in a thread here before I even noticed a 'Civil Forum' had been created. The thread I posted it in must've been moved here from an older forum, I reckon.
Well, it's nice to see we've got an official clean area now! :)

Gosh, I wonder if I would be on Georgie's list of people who may not be able to keep it civil. Maybe, maybe not. But when I do go uncivil on someone, it is usually just to punish him for dishonest debating tricks; I am allergic to those.
Actually I almost never swear offline, and I simply stay out of discussions with opponents, as I consider them a waste of time. I am calm as a bumblebee. But I post at VNNF because it is the only place where I can speak my mind without being censored, and without having my computer tracked and the information handed over to the police for a criminal charge, as would be the case in Sweden. I ... just can't stand that.
Uncivil talk has its uses, and I will have to give credit where credit is due, and say that I have learned a lot about it from Alex Linder. Years ago I used to chat in a politics chatroom, and was known as one of the few who always stayed civil. But what good would it do? And what good does it do in real life? Like my pa used to say when he taught me how to fight, noone will care afterward if you kneed the guy our gouged him, they'll only remember who won and who didn't.
Ah, but perhaps one single civil room in the boot camp won't do any harm. And it may be enjoyable -- a change of pace, as it were. I think I'll try it and see what happens. Btw, Alex, my essay ain't ever going up, I suspect? I'll just post the pictures of the goodlooking Carpathian chick here, then.
But I do object to allowing antis here. I talk to antis every single day. I hear the propaganda in school every day, and I see it on television every day. It is in the music and in posters, everywhere around me. Why should I have to put up with it here as well? There should be one place online, a single place, where Whites can gather in peace.

Comes down to time and place.
VNNF will always be a free speech forum. We will never go the way of other forums which censor what you say and how you say it. NEVER will that happen here.
The Civil forum is meant to add something good, not detract from anything already good.
There's no good or bad Absolute with epithets and curses, it depends on time and place and mission.

Flaming is a time-honored tradition, the result of chatters not being able to punch each other in the face, and of that anonymity on the internet gives every jerk a chance to be macho. It's when you resort to just lobbying insults back and forth. Your average anti will resort to it quickly, frustrated by that for once his opponent can't be stomped down on by a teacher or banned from the forum, as they have been used to. For once they see the world's majority-opinion on race expressed without retribution, and it makes them pretty mad. (That's also why they don't last very long in a forum such as this one.)

I think a new rule should be put in place where if people constantly keep breaking the rules of the Civil Forum and no matter how many times you tell them not to, yet they still keep doing it, they should be temporarily banned. Maybe for 3 days or so. Dr AntiChrist just went too far there and I agree with the 3 day ban that was put on him. If he wanted to say what he did, he could have done it in another section but that kind of stuff just wont fly here.

Yes. Cut stuff not relevant if it's disruptive. but put the reason in the reason box so they know.l
As for people who keep poking at the rules, give them two chances, then kick 'em out or off, however it works.

I dont think Antis should be kept out of the civil forum. Debates are far more effective when everybody keeps a civil tongue, and if a curious onlooker was to wade on by he will be influenced much more by well presented arguments and discussions than he will be seeing two opposing sides trading insults.

The Civil forum is open to anyone who stays civil, and relevant, anti- or pro-. If you have a personal problem with another poster and keep interjecting that to get the discussion off track, that won't be allowed.

I ask again, and let's see if I'm allowed to post questions about the rules without being censored this time, if I ask nicely:
Should gross references to acts of beastliness, such as the stripping of dead Jews' skin for the making of furniture, be allowed in the civil forum?
Should a guy be allowed to use multiple handles in the civil forum to back himself up, even in the same thread? It is a form of deception, a lie if you will, something which is hardly civil.
You're skating on very thin ice right now. If you have a problem with KLM please take it up with him in a different forum.

There was another thread where the question of multiple handles came up and I treated it as a joke.
I have no idea why it would make a difference. If someone wishes to banter with himself, so what? And on slow days, there might be nobody else to banter with.
If there's a rule against it, on what grounds? It would be a very odd prohibition on a forum where most people go by nicknames anyway.
