Let me start off by saying I used to be a huge MM fan back when I was more....idealistic during my first years of college. That being said, I practically hate the guy now.

But, if there's one thing you can say about the left, is that they usually have more guts to critisize Israel than the right does. Here's a little snippet:

1. Sit your ass down!

It's that simple. You just lay down...a few thousand in the middle of the road will do. Don't move or fight back when they try to drag you away. Instead of Israel always shutting down borders to Gaza and the West Bank, you shut them down...No Israeli will be able to get to their settlement. No Israelis can transport goods and services into Israel...call the media ahead of time. And you'll end up with far fewer dead Palestinians than you yield now.

2. Strike

Rufuse to work for Israel. Their economy is based on your virtual slave labor you provide them. Don't do it anymore. Who will do all their s***work for them if the Palestinians don't? Other Israelis? I doubt it! They need you and your willlingness to break your backs for substandard wages. Of course, they'll try to break you. They'll cut off your food, roads, and water. Stockpil eand don't give in. Watch how quickly a deal is struck after every single Arab refuses to work for Israel.

...Trust me, when the pictures of your peaceful disobedience and suffering are broadcast across the world, the Israeli government may very well be unable to continue its oppression. There you go. If you want, I will come and join in nonviolent protest. It's the least I can do after helping finance the bullets and bombs that have killed your people.

Arabs who live under Israeli rule in the West Bank and Gaza have nothing. They are under constant curfew, and taxed with no representation. They are arrested and jailed without trial, their homes are bulldozed without warning, their land is stolen and given to "settlers." Their children are murdered for throwing stones, or just walking down the street.

Of course they throw stones. Of course they kill settlers! Abused people fight back! ....Congress should inform Israel it had thirty days to end bloodshed perpetrated in our name (we finance them 3 billion dollars). Individual terrorism is bad enough, but state sponsored terrorism is truly evil.

I tend to agree. The Palestinians will never be able to defeat Israel militarily, unfortunately. This may very well be their best resort. Anyways, despite my loathing for most leftists (and many rightists as well), it's nice to see it's still only really the left that has the guts to question our ridiculous support for genocidal Israel.

But even the mainstream right is hopping onboard the typical liberal stance of "IMMIGRATION GOOD", unfortunately. I really wish the differences were larger.

In the last few years, Israel has been importing many guest workers from Asia to do most of its negro jobs.

Word modified to Civil Forum "negro" by Chain. Post stands.

It's all very well for Moore to advise Palestinians on how to best fight the Israelis... but do you think he'd ever go over there himself to take part in lying down on the road with a bunch of Palestinians, in front of some Merkava tanks, say?

Not a frigging chance! Despite his claims to the contrary. Even if he did go over there, do you really think that the Israelis would not recognise him? And when they recognised him, do you think they'd let him anywhere near any of their more contempible operations? HAW!

Of course, being an American media figure with a large and uncritical fanbase, he no doubt considers his advice to be invaluable and inviolate.

But really, when the Israeli army and security police are not willing to allow a millionth of what they do the Palestinians to hit the screens worldwide, and the American and British media consortiums are loathe to screen most of what does make it out of Israel in the first place, does anyone with any sense think that it's a good idea for the Palestinians to stop fighting the Israelis and to just lie down to them, in the hopes that their futile deaths will shame enough Westerners into putting the pressure on the Israelis to, well, stop being so mean and nasty to the Palestinians?

And in the unlikely case that this does happen, Israel's leaders has shown repeatedly in the past exactly what they think of the opinion of other countries, especially when it comes to their treatment of the Palestinians... absolutely nothing. They effectively don't have to, either!

As long as the West keeps on giving Israel such monetary (and other) support, the Palestinians are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

If John Kerry were to be elected president........

We would here nothing more from the blowhard Michael Moore on the plight of the palestinians.

He would be as quiet as a church mouse.

Maybe Al Franken perhaps. Not Moore. I've read two of Moore's books and seen most of his movies.

It's obvious he favors democrats over republicans. However, his antidemocrat rhetoric is almost as virulent as his antirepublican ones. I could do compile a huge list of his criticisms of the democrats, but I hope you'll take my word for it.

Keep in mind, I used to be a fan of the guy...but his race and "hate whitey" politics got to me.

On March 16th, 2003, an Israeli soldier driving a bulldozer two-stories
high crushed to death 23-year-old Rachael Corrie, an American
nonviolent human rights protestor. According to numerous witnesses
and photographic documentation, she was killed intentionally.

Rachel and a handful of others practicing Gandhian nonviolence in the
Gaza Strip had been pleading with Israeli soldiers for two hours not
to destroy a Palestinian family home. Suddenly, the Israeli bulldozer
operator began driving his giant bulldozer toward the home, Rachel
sitting in its path. Witnesses report that she then stood up on the
mound of debris and dirt pushed by the bulldozer blade and looked
straight at the operator through the window. He continued, and she
was pulled underneath the tractor, its blade crushing her. He then
backed up, running over her again, burying her deeper into the dirt.
