View Full Version : Is It Time To Leave The Nest?

I have been posting here for quite a while now. At the beginning, it was an intellectual journey that I will never forget. But lately my posts have been somewhat unproductive, and I think the reason is boredom. I have crushed as many "sacred cows" as I can and now feel I am "preaching to the choir".
What I would really like to do is start a forum in my own local area, to wake others up. A forum like VNN, but toned down. (Remember, we are dealing with lemmings.) In fact I feel that this would be a good idea for others who are in my same boat. "Spread the word" if you will, but personalize it to your own area or community.
I am wondering what all is involved, and maybe Alex and others could chime in on this. I like this forum's software vBulletin (http://www.vBulletin.com), and would probably consider using it. However I know little if anything about servers, costs, web attacks, etc. My area only has less than 10,000 people so the bandwidth would probably stay pretty reasonable.
Any advice would help.
Thank You,
R MacDonald

It's smart to want to branch out and spread VNN ideals and spirit amongs others. I don't know about your tech questions and as much as a net board can be productive for information gathering,it is primarily an exercise in preaching to the choir. We do a fine job of that here at VNN.
Although, I'm constantly surprised at new ideas and strategies.
If you want to branch out, think about forming face to face networks based on any number of things. Cyber activism only goes so far.
If you want to focus on local action, use the web as a way to logistically meet up and plan face to face encounters.
How about starting a local Scottish-American social club? Make it open to any and all Whites. I am assuming you live somewhere in the US. If not, my apologies.
That would be a productive way to socialize and brainstorm with fellow Whites. You would also be able to help awaken others to our plight worldwide.
Or maybe a bookclub or resturant club. Go around with people who are interested in discussing and reviewing books or new resturants.
Anything is possible if Aryan men desire to take action.
No reason to totally leave VNNF though.
Your posts do preach to the choir and like minded people, but they are appreciated by your comrades.

There are plenty of web hosts out there. Google for "Web hosting" and you'll find plenty. However, the problem would be finding one that allows racist material. However, depending on how "toned down" you make it, you might not run into that problem.
Anyway, the level of difficulty of getting web hosting is basically as hard as you want to make it. There are plenty of web hosts that will really hold your hand and have everything pre-configured.... there are some places where a few clicks are all it takes to set up a forum like this or phpBB. On other web hosts there is a lot more work involved, but you have a lot more direct control over everything that happens. It all depends on how much you want to learn and time you want to spend on the one hand, and how much money you're willing to spend on the other. I think you could get a pretty nice setup at $30 a month or so to start out. If you wanted to put a lot of work into learning computer stuff, you could get down to the $10-$15 per month range. Note that this is for "shared" web hosting, where many sites are hosted on the same physical server. This is sufficient for most people. If you want a dedicated server, you're probably looking at at least $50-$100 per month, and that will get you very little in terms of ease of use. (Note: I haven't personally priced this stuff in about a year, so things may have changed...)
One other thing to deal with is the domain registration. Some web hosts will do that for you too, and everything will be set up out of the box. Personally I like joker.com for domain registrations, but they don't do hosting. If you register with a plain registrar like joker, you'll have to do some accounting to get the DNS and IP stuff set up correctly. It's really not very complicated, but to a newbie it's confusing unless it's explained to you correctly.
As far as attacks go.... It's not something I'd worry about initially, but it'd be good to ask about. Some hosting providers will block out attacks as part of their service, and they won't charge you for the bandwidth that the attacks take up.

Yes, I myself am thinking about doing the same thing, starting a Pan Aryan organization with an E-Bulletin format.Im not really comfortable with any of the present WN organizations, though Im not here to put any of them down.
But I suffer from the same technical ignorance as the first poster.
I suppose many if not most here would want to do anything but help me, but Id just thought Id throw it out.
Not that I wat to leave VNN or SF or Yahoo, its just that there are more and moreWNs with my ideas, but frankly, beyond my Yahoo Groups, they have no place to go.
I should add that theboard would serve as a nucleus for what would eventually be a world-wide real life organization.

Derrick is right. Do something local in the real world and skip the Internet. Why dont you do something entirely physical, with real bodies in your neck of the woods, make it whatever you want -- ethnic club, informal pac, "Angry Aryan" soccer team, lunch discussion group, whatever. Come back and report on your progress on a monthly basis.
We dont need to reinvent the wheel, we need to get our wheels moving.
