Like that guy, though. Good radio voice. I don't know if he's actually a speech therapist or what, I looked up his name and he was on NPR talking about northeast accents. Hey John if you're reading this, oh and mark hinted earlier(i've only listened to about an hour of the FTL so far) that you'd talked to him about "drawing out" the voice or something like this... anyway if you use the forums here can you tell us more about speech and what techniques to use to smooth out the voice.

I'm assuming a lot of it is breathing style. I lived with this girl, she was a voice student at KU and she said breathing was really important. You have to breath as if you were filling your belly, if you want to output a long clear note.

Is training your voice like looking in a mirror? I mean do you record and then listen to your own voice to hone it? I'd hate to have anyone catch me at it, but I would do that if I could make my voice better.
