Excellent Show! I love this stuff!

I know the Vikings from long term personal experiences with them. I have asked many questions. It is true that they viewed their "religion" as mythical stories and not as things to be taken literally in defiance of common sense. This is a refreshing considering the "fake" Christians that instantiate the institutionalized conglomeration we call Christianity. I am talking about people who are dead-set on taking the literal words, in reference to miracles and such, and using the miraculous and fantastic as a core connection to the beliefs. This kind of thing has always been repulsive to me. Science and grounded knowledge are more amazing. It is quite obvious that Vikings--historically and culturally--have this way of thinking. This is why they accepted Christianity in history and have it today. They view it as a collection of good myths and stories. They see things as more and more symbolic and mythical, the further back in time you go. But, one thing they lack is this belief that these things which defy common sense, like miracles and such, are actual fact.
