The message, and what you make of it, depends on who you are and who's wearing it.

"The idea is to call your attention," said
Ruth P. Rubinstein, author of "Dress Codes: Meanings and Messages in American Culture" (Westview Press, 2001). "We do have freedom of speech."
She sees this particular slogan as harmless because of the traditionally high social position of the butts of the joke.
"White women are seen as status symbols," she said. "So everyone knows it's a joke."

If the shirt targeted black women, for instance, the joke would be lost and the shirts could be construed as seriously racist.

With many of the T-shirts being worn by white men with their white girlfriends in tow, the message is more ironic.

"It's kind of a reverse joke," said Rubinstein, associate professor of sociology at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology. The men and women "know it's not true, so it's funny."

Well isn't that lovely? For a site that's sick of white girls....it sure mentiones them enough! ;) The things people come up with...

In my long and meandering intellectual oddessey (I put the odd in oddessey har har), I made a brief stop on the island of the Masculinists.

Now most of these people were very logical, and most were certainly not mysoginists. But the thing I carried away from it is this: Most of these guys are just responding to the white feminist woman who wants to have her cake and eat it too. Most of them were actively seeking relationships, but were psychologically overwhelmed by the massive media feminist frenzy.

The problem with masculinism is this:

-First of all it's not racialism which is the only political position of consequence, everything else is just navel dabbling.

-Second of all it seems that these guys had so internalized the media feminist image that they saw all women as stereotypical feminists, with nary the benefit of the doubt. This caused most to wallow in despair, and obviously loneliness.

That is why racialism is so important. Relations between the genders must have a higher puropse. This is really 90% of the problem today, people's lives are so vapid and directionless beyond consumerism, that relations between the sexes rarely amount to more than a business venture to acquire more stuff, and respond to an instinct for companionship.

Racialism will save gender relations, by giving couples a purpose other than shallow consumerism.

In the mean time single WN men need to take advantage of the situation and grab white women, TODAY.
