FORT WORTH A woman assaulted inside a North Texas hospital says there wasn't enough done to protect her from a dangerous patient. Now, she's suing Huguley Memorial Medical Center….

An attorney for the victim filing the current suit says the attack happened because hospital workers put a man, with a history of behavior and mental health problems, in a room next to a heavily sedated woman who was being treated for depression and was on a suicide watch.

"He entered her room wearing nothing but a t-shirt," attorney Michael Sawicki said.

Evidence shows Perry Brown carefully arranged his bed making it look like he was asleep. Then, he snuck into the blonde haired woman's room next door.

Sawicki tells CBS 11 News that when Brown was asked about the attack he said the assault took place for more than an hour and a half.

At the time Brown was a 60-year-old schizophrenic who had been psychotic in the past. He was also a drug abuser and a convicted felon….
