I suggest you rent the movie Birthday Girl before you get into the Russian bride thing. It has Nicole Kidman as a Russian bride who is definitely not the Stepford Wife. Kinky but gritty movie about a real problem...being 53 and unsuitable to the American woman, I'm tempted about the Russian route. Other guys fall for the Chinese/Filipina/Conchita sirens, but I'll stick to my own. But the desparation regarding women needs to be spoken about.

Who cares what it smacks of. You don't have to enslave her, just marry her, get her pregnant and treat her well. Keep in touch with her family too.

That will also be one Eastern European woman less for the real slave trade to target.
