Philippine National Police (PNP) operatives apprehended an Israeli suspected to be a member of the al-Qaeda terror network in in Baguio City on June 7.

Arrested was Mera Doutvsky.

Reports reaching the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City, disclosed that Mera was nabbed at about 2 p.m., by joint elements of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit and the Bureau of Immigration at the vicinity of the Department of Social Welfare Development in Baguio City.

Authorities also said that Doutvsky was also found to be an undocumented and overstaying alien.

Police said the information they received from the Bureau of Immigration revealed that Doutvsky is asuspected member of the al-Qaeda terrorist cell, an information still unconfirmed by other intelligence agencies.

Doutvsky was turned over to the office of Alipio Fernandez Jr., BI commissioner, in Manila for proper disposition.

Last week, authorities reportedly prevented a possible terror attack coinciding with the 106th celebration of Independence Day.

Explosive materials plenty enough to sink a passenger shipwere seized by authorities from arrested terrorist suspect Alejandro Aguirre.

The explosives were seized before these could be shipped to Zamboanga City.

The arrest came following an announcement by the Australian government that terrorists have entered Indonesia from the Philippines in recent weeks to plan a new strategy on assassinating diplomats in lieu of bombing western targets.Link (http://www.mb.com.ph/PROV2004061411759.html)

Doutvsky was turned over to the bureau by the field office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) there on June 7 and was found to be an overstaying alien.

He said the Israeli will undergo deportation proceedings for violating the country’s immigration law and not her alleged links to the al-Qaeda.

“We are deporting her for being an undocumented and overstaying alien,” Fernandez said, adding that the Israeli is a public charge as she had no means to support her stay in the country.

The bureau reported that the Israeli had been under the care of the DSWD for quite some time as she had become financially distressed.

Doutvsky was not arrested in a joint operation by the police and immigration agents as reported.

Reports said that the DSWD officials merely sought the help of the National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group operatives in pacifying the Israeli (Jewess. -Chain), who become violent and unruly at that time. G. de los Santos

Dude, it'z so totally funny how these Israeli spies, no matter if they're in New Zealand, America or the Philippines, they're ALWAYS deported back to Israel with TOTALLY NO CONSEQUENCES.

Dude I remember Ashcroft, when commenting on the sentencing of Robert Hanson said "anyone who commits an act of espionage against the United States will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law" THE SAME WEEK that the Israeli spies rounded up after 9/11 were sent home to Israel without so much as an indictment.
