Time for a lynching, or perhaps someone to put themselves out as bait while armed with a pistol.

Gang preying on hospital

A gang of African youths has robbed and bashed at least seven victims in Melbourne's busiest hospital area.
They prey on vulnerable victims for wallets, mobile phones, watches and digital cameras.
Victim Simon Quirk is living at Ronald McDonald House in Story St, Parkville, while his son, 3, battles cancer.
For the past six weeks, Mr Quirk and wife Abigail have spent their days by son Alexander's bedside at the Royal Children's Hospital, where he's had a bone marrow transplant.
Mr Quirk was bashed after walking from the hospital to the front of Ronald McDonald House where he answered his phone about 11pm.
"I was talking and the next thing I knew a group of young African males -- about six to eight of them -- walked up to me and surrounded me," Mr Quirk said yesterday.
"They asked if they could use the phone.
"A lot of things were running through my head. I knew at the very best my phone and wallet were going to be gone and some sort of bodily harm was very likely.
"They were clearly menacing. They were right in my face and standing around me."
One of the gang punched Mr Quirk in the face before he handed over his phone and his wallet.
"They thought it was hilarious. One of them then fronted up to me and said, 'Do you want some?' I said, 'No, you've got everything. There's heaps of money in the wallet'."
Mr Quirk, a financial services company director, said the attack was the last thing his family needed.
"I haven't really had time to dwell on it because most of our energy and attention is spent on getting our son better."
Detectives from the anti-robbery Embona Taskforce are investigating the cowardly after-dark attacks.
They follow a large police crackdown in Noble Park after violence involving African gangs.
Police have set up a special investigation into the Parkville attacks.
The gang may have been responsible for seven robberies.
