I don't recall ever saying much about Hilareth's post count accept in a joking manner prior to the last week. I mentioned how much she posted on VNN just to show that she has posted here, because that is what I thought she was referring to when she said she never posted there. That was my mistake.

I have spoke to her a ton in the last few months. There is no alterior motive. I have decided that I am no longer going to withdraw on my principals so I can continue talking to her and others who are wrong. Myself and her are far too different to even be friends. Kind of a funny story. Both myself and l0stsoul joined the Marines without knowing each other had done so. Then I PMed him, after finding out that a fellow Stormfronter my age had also joined the Marines. Found out that we were to ship within just one week of each other. Pretty crazy, huh?

I got discharged because I lied about having asthma. Sgt. Major told me if I had just told MEPS I had childhood asthma in the first place, I probably could have stayed. Oh, fucking well.

About month after I got back home, I'm surfing Stormfront, and I get a pop up box from the dude. The Marine was home. I read the PM, and wouldn't you know it, he got discharged too. We had missed each other in the Recruit Seperation Platoon by two weeks. Pretty fucking crazy, huh?

That is why he considers me a friend Jay.

I'll tell you something. I don't mean to sound like I am full of shit, but I was the ideal recruit. I scored super high on the ASVAB. I took the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (widely considered the hardest test the military gives) and passed. I could run the 1 1/2 mile in 11 minutes flat (not the best, but hey, I'm a friggin chain smoker), do 50 pushups straight, and 113 sit-up crunches in two mintues. We would PT sometime with Marines fresh out of boot in the Delayed Entry Program, and I could do everything they could.

I am smart, and though not a super-athlete, I could do that shit no problem. I was "good to go." Hell, even my ol' recruiter would agree with me. When I got home, I ran into him. I was pissed at him for sacrificing me to meet his quota, and he was probably equally pissed at me for telling those folks on the depot that he told me to lie. Guess we were even. I went up to him to shake his hand, and he told me "you were the last motherfucker on earth I thought wouldn't make it."

My dad was a First Sergeant in the Army. He fought in Vietnam and the first desert war. Got a chest full of medals. All that shit. I can't say I love him, but he made me tough.

I'm telling you all this because I should have been the Super Marine. I had all the advantages over most reccruits that have to go through that hell. But even I questioned myself in that time. All recruits did. Every last one of them.

I don't want to tell the sequence of events that led l0stsoul to decide to leave. But, it was pretty fucked up. I cannot honestly sit here and tell you that had I experienced that same shit, that I would not have done the same thing he did.

Of course, that is not to say that others did not have it just as hard. He certainly wasn't the only recruit to get shitted on so badly for no reason. But, and only the gods know why, l0stsouls Senior Drill Instrcutor had come to him, and told him that he could get out. Something the SDI should not have done.

Now, you folks who have never volunteered yourselves to go through such hell, will sit there and say "so, what, he's still a pussy." But as I said, had my Senior Drill Instructor come to me and said "hey, you wanna leave?," well, I can't say that I would have said no. I'll bet that damn near every recruit, if told that he could go home, would do so.

I had one guy in my platoon that was 28 years old. I saw him break down on the 3rd day in training. DIs in his face, and he just busts out crying. We even had this one dude, don't know how old he was, but he did 4 years in the Army. He was getting worn down just like every last one of us. When I got home, and told my father some stories, he was fucking infuriated. This coming from a guy that went to bootcamp in 1966.

To summarize, Marine Corps boot camp is pretty fucking hard. l0stsoul was one of those few that got shitted on super, just because the DIs always had to pick someone to shit on super. Then, just days before going into the Crucible, just days before making it to easy street, his SDI comes to him and says he can leave. And, other events those last two days had furthered his decision.

Hey, I don't here any Marines calling him a pussy. He joined the Marine Corps at 17, to go into the Infantry, during a time when it was almost certain he would go to war. Pussy? I think not.

I am not a Marine. And, I am rather glad I am not these days.

When I got home, I went to the state fair. There was this Orthodox Christian stand set up. Being that my mother is a Bosnian born Serb, I went over to speak with the folks. I talked to this one guy. He was the first American I ever heard say that the cleansing of foreigners in Serbia was righteous. I was impressed with this man.

He told me of an American Serb, who was connected with his church. The Serb was in the Air Force. He was ordered to Yugoslavia. He was going to bomb his own people. He refused to go. From what I know, he is still incarcerated in some military prison.

It made me somewhat ashamed that I had even joined. But, I tell you this, had I been ordered to Kosovo, I too would choose prison.

Then, months later. Watching Dateline, when they showed the pictures of all the servicemen killed in Iraq. Seeing so many pictures of 18 year old marines and soldiers that were dead. That fucked me up.

So, if you're under the impression that I am some American "patriot," looking to go fight for my government, you are highly mistaken.

I joined because:

a) I come from a working class family, which could not afford to send me to college. Though ironically, because I was in the military, I am considered a veteran, and in the world of student financial aid, I am independent. Meaning, my parents don't have to pay for shit. Something good did come of it all.

b) I was given an MOS field that typically makes around $70,000-90,000 entry level. Meaning, I could have gotten out at 23, and had myself a very good career.

c) I was given a $4,000 bonus

d) I would get to learn a language.

After my last post I went to bed, but I cannot sleep. IrishJay's last post really bothers me. All these posts bother me. I think this should be settled here and now.

My relationship with lostsoul is in the times that we talk through instant messaging. I have never met him, nor will I ever meet him. Haven't even talked to him on the phone, and probably never will. He's a guy I talk to on the internet.That's about as far as it goes.

The reason I defend him is because I understand him. He has confided in me, because he trusts me, which he does because he knows I can understand him.

I think I get why he is the way he is. I think that in high school, he came to a certain set of beliefs. He became a racialist. He didn't want to be like his typical teenage friends. He didn't want to listen to rap. He didn't want to smoke weed. He didn't want any of that shit. He can't fit in, so he becomes isolated. Can you understand how difficult it is for a young White male with his beliefs to survive high school?

He can, however find some like minded people on the internet. He goes on Stormfront, and has found himself a nice community, where he will at least no be judged for his racial views as he would in society. Just like all of us right?

Doing this however, made him further isolated. The internet (probably specifically Stormfront) would rob him of his high school years.

In all honesty, he would be a much happier person had he never found Stormfront, and developed his views. Ironic isn't it? Had he never become a White Racialist, he would have been just like every other kid. He would have smoked some weed, gotten laid, and would have felt great. And, none of you would be calling him a loser. One could say he sacrificed his life to believe in this shit.

His views on sex probably come from viewing his peers as well. Let's be honest, in high school, most will fuck just to fit in. God forbid one be labled a loser for being a virgin. He looks around, and sees White teenagers who do anything to keep their place in the high school society. Smoke weed, have sex, what have you. He looks at his peers, and decides that he will be the opposite of them. He won't do drugs, he won't be a nigger lover, and he won't fuck just because that is the thing to do. In his mind he is righteous and moral for doing this.

He has said that two adults in a relationship having sex is completely fine. He's merely trying to say that a) teenagers fucking like rabbits isn't ideal and b) adults who "sport fuck" are not ideal either. I am quite sure that once he finds himself a girl, and starts dating her for awhile, he will develop that relationship into a physical one, like all normal people do.

His life so far has been crappy. So, he joins the Marine Corps in hopes of changing things. He wants to make something of himself. He wants to become a man, become independent, have a career. He wants to be "born again" if you will. I suppose he was trying to escape.

And, as so many of you just love to point out, that plan didn't quite work out. I will say once again, I don't believe the guy is a "pussy" for doing what he did. Had he been treated just like every other recruit, given only the same amount of shit as other recruits, and not given the option to leave, he would be off on a ship somewhere, with some pride to himself. You may find it stupid, but for him to carry the title "Marine," is a great victory. He'd probably even be getting some pussy right now. Guess things don't always work as planned.

So, he has to come home, with his head hung low. What friends and girlfriend prospects he had before, are gone now. They've all gone to college, or whatever they did. He goes back to his old internet habit, because he is depressed.

I will submit, that yes, he is an angry young man. Maybe he should have been a little more tactful, and a little more respectful. Maybe he shouldn't have taken his frustrations out on others. But this shit, this absolute fucking insane attack on his character, is very fucked up.
