Rep points are sort of like the feedback feature on Ebay. If you give a neg, chances are you going to get a retaliatory one back. This is how it was with Joseph. I neg repped him for some of his absurd claims about the Utah cop, and he gave me a neg back with a "LOL". But then if people aren't giving Joseph neg rep like he deserves, newcomers may take him seriously on the forum.

Anyone who takes a stand on just about any controversial issue will pay a price, if even in a very small way. In Japan, there is a saying, "The nail that sticks out gets hammered".

Let's look at this from a statistical point of view. My post to points ratio is 1531/953 = 1.61.

The ratio is probably a better measurement of posting quality, because there are some people who have thousands of posts, but less than 10 green dots. I wish Vbulletin had a feature that allowed you to filter out posters with a low post to point ratio.

I do take a stand . I am an active member of the BNP. I engage people on the streets and try to convince them that we deserve their support at elections. I leaflet, I attend meetings, conferences, donate, work for free doing countless, thankless tasks that make a political movement tick.:) I don't see the point in arguing on any website, it achieves little and often turns potential comrades into enemies. All I meant to say is that guys will naturally want to focus their efforts on women, by, for example, going out of their way to endear themselves to women by over-repping them. Knowing how things usually go as far as males and females are concerned what you are saying is going to likely be the case, but I am not really seeing a lot of it here. And that might be because, while males obviously like women, this is also a forum of very serious discussion.

My whole main point in even talking about this was to disagree with the idea that males are just handing out rep points to the women here, at least in any kind of significant way.
