...from 'ascending' to 'descending'? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

..and why cant I give any rep points? I wondered if it was just because Im new, but normally when youre new, your rep points just dont mean anything or count towards a significant vote, but youre still able to give them.

I am not sure but, just had a look.

It would appear to me that you need to go to:

User Control Panel

Edit Options

Thread Display Options - thread display mode

Sorry, I don't know about the rep points.

Thank you! LOL, however, its as if the thread-fairy paid my a visit, and changed my preferences for me. I just logged in, and it suddenly displayed the way I wanted it to. Thank you, thread-fairy!

You should be able to give positive rep, although it won't have any "point" value until you have more posts under your belt. To give negative rep you need 500 posts.
