The reason the video is suspicious (along with Berg's) is that they are probably dead before the beheading. You watch the full length video and he's pleading and moving, the tape cuts, 4th goon appears and all of a sudden the Korean is still and quiet as can be before the decapitation. So when you think about it, who wants to deal with the mess and difficulty that comes with beheading a live person?

More likely they'd DDoS the servers carrying the vid so that nobody could download it but your scenario wouldn't be terribly difficult to implement either. If they knew the vid existed in say 3 variations, each with a unique checksum then they could engineer malware that scanned for files with those unique checksums and delete them from the targets harddrive. Dissemination of the malware would be the difficult part but I suppose there's some unpatched IIS (http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/2004-06-27-web-attack_x.htm) or IE (http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/articles/11620204?source=Metro) exploit somewhere that may do the trick.

Unfortunately most things turn out to be a zog ploy now-a-days. If the guys who cut off kim scum-il's head were employed by zog then it seems to me that zog wants to benefit off of these beheadings by causing outrage around the world that would garner more support. Maybe they were trying to ensure that the south koreans were going to send soldiers to iraq with this last execution. But its going the other way for zog, because most s.koreans are demanding their government pull out of iraq. Their capture of the 3 turks also works to the advantage of zog by enraging Turkey to the point of sending more soldiers. Besides these reasons, and the bad editing in the video tapes, in my opinion the militants in the videos look too tall, fat, broadshouldered, and white to be arabs.
