Just click the links and download the thumbnail (instead of clicking the link and getting the larger pic) when you see one you like. You may still have to resize some of the images but it is still easier than most ways of getting avatars.

Not to nitpick with you doc but I don't think a single one of those results is allowable on VNNF's current setting. Which is pretty dang small. Even senior member's only get 120x120 and none of those images are quite small enough.

Save the thumbnails, if they are to big then resize them using image software.

Senior members can have larger avatars, you do this by having a higher post count. I think it is somewhere like 900.

Me too. I found this one in Celtic and resized it in Paint. Used Excel to work out the rescaling ratio.
