Mandatory automobile insurance is government sanctioned theft of our money and it doesn't make us any safer on the road at all. As a matter of fact I've heard plenty about idiots who are just driving around looking for an accident so they could collect insurance claims. Automobile insurance ought to be optional and better yet the government thieves and the thieving insurance companies ought to give us back all the money they stole.
