After seeing what Walker and Gliebe are doing to Dr. DeMairasse, who was Dr. Pierce's most trusted confidant and bookkeeper, I'm just about ready to be through with the NA,.and take half the members in my state with me.

In the past I've said some things about Billy Roper, because I thought that he should have been more of a team player and tried harder to get along with Erich. I thought he should have been more of a loyalist like I was because I thought that was the right thing to do. to stay with the team, after all, no matter what. to not be a splitter. sorry, Billy, but that's how i saw it. But i think he's matured a lot over the last coupla years and also he's doing stuff, unlike the NA. is it possible that a reconciliation might be reached, and i could come on board white revolution?

I'm not saying you were right or I was wrong, but I'd like to put it behind us and work with your group. Please e-mail me and let me know if we can forget the past.

THE DEATH OF PATRIOTISM - THE BIRTH OF NATIONALISM

In 1972, when I was in third grade, our class held a mock election at the same time as the real Presidential election. I helped build the election booth. I can remember urging my classmates to vote for Richard Nixon over George McGovern.



Why Nixon? It just vaguely seemed to me that Nixon was more "American" than McGovern. To me it was patriotic to vote for Nixon. Patriotism as used here meaning support and allegiance to a state and government. McGovern criticized the Government, which was elected by the people (so I felt) and therefore he was insulting Americans when he attacked the Government.



As I got older patriotism for me came to mean supporting the US, right or wrong. Actually, it meant believing the US could do no wrong. Criticism of the Government seemed somehow subversive.



I recall one day in High School when a classmate said he would never fight to protect the US, unless the enemy was coming up his own driveway. I was furious; with that attitude there would be no America, I thought.



Later in High School, I read a conservative book called 'A Time for Truth' which hit all the usual subjects in its criticism of liberals. Liberals were anti-military, anti-business, anti-tradition, and so were anti-American. "Liberals" became my enemy, because I considered them the enemy of America, as I knew it.



I became a typical, traditional conservative. Why?



Because there was nothing else to give my allegiance to. I was not a member of any minority group or Government interest group. There was no choice about it, I was either pro-American or I had nothing to relate to, to look to, to be reassured by, to feel a part of. I wasn't aware of the White Nationalist movement. Nationalism as used here meaning support and allegiance to a race and people.

Up until a point in this century, WN's considered themselves to also be patriots. They could be pro-White and pro-Government at the same time. They were not anti-American; in fact they considered themselves the real Americans. The KKK and other groups were anti-immigrant, and pro-Constitution, but also pro-American. They carried the US flag at their rallies.



The WN's considered America and the American Government to be misled but salvageable institutions probably up until the '60's and '70's. Purge the Government of the liberals and Zionists, correctly interpret the Constitution, and the country would be back on the right track.



Today, for WN's, the State of America, its Government and its policies are themselves the greatest threats to the White race. It was the Government that forcibly integrated schools and neighborhoods. It was the Government that pushed the phony 'Civil Rights' agenda. It is the Government's courts that are ripping apart our society. It is the Government that strives to put WN's in jail.



Another reason for this animosity to the Government was the Immigration Act of 1965. This 90% White country was invaded by third-world immigrants. The Government catered to these people and to native blacks; the White population was not allowed to have interests of its own. Affirmative Action was the classic example - qualified Whites kept out of jobs to satisfy minorities, something unthinkable just a few decades before. With a rising non-White population, it was clear that just reforming the Government would not solve our problems; the human problems would still be in America.



After college, as I got older, I grew more and more dissatisfied with the US Government. Nothing the Government did was in my interest, quite the opposite. My vote seemed a futile and useless act that had no effect on the State. But what else was there? I joined conservative organizations and read conservative publications, but there seemed to be no real answer. These organizations did not offer a real well defined group to join, merely people bound ONLY by ideology.



Then I ordered a few books from National Vanguard Books. I can still remember the moment it came to me, reading one of those books, sitting on the couch in my apartment. Forget the government - the real, historical, and natural group of which I was a part was the White race. Kaboom! My perception of the whole world changed at that moment. What little allegiance I had to the US Government dropped away and I became a White Nationalist.

So how does this relate to today's situation? First, I think it shows one reason why so many Whites continue to be patriots and lemmings although the Government never acts in their interest. Whites today are cheering a useless war, waving flags and singing songs in support of the military. These Whites feel, subconsciously, that they have nothing else to be a part of, regardless of how little they get from the Government. If they did not identify with the Government they would be merely drifting, alienated specks. Because they identify so closely with the Government they are frantic to support the war effort. Just like me, they take an attack on an act of the Government to be an attack on them.



When dealing with these patriots it is better not to immediately knock the entire Government, but to offer to be part of a new group. Criticize programs and acts and suggest a pro-White policy would be better. Cutting down the whole Government is just too much to start out with.



Also, take advantage of events that cast the Government in a bad light as an opportunity to introduce White Nationalism. The public supports the Iraq War at the moment, but that support is slipping. When you meet up with a patriot who is anti-war you have a person who is ready to be introduced to White Nationalism. I think the Iraq War may turn out to be a very good issue for us. Of course it's a long shot that we can achieve any real change, but then our whole movement is a long shot.



I agree with those people who say that the Iraq War could very well turn into a disaster. Either casualties will mount if the US stays in Iraq, or Iraq will collapse if the US pulls out. The disillusioned patriots, shorn of their trust of the Government, will hopefully be ready to make the jump to White Nationalism. We must be prepared to make them aware of that alternative. For us, patriotism is dead; only nationalism can save us now.
