You can save Don Black's server capacity by INDEXING YOURSELF.

It dawned on me that there is a very good way to cut down the load on Don Black's servers. It is to store your most-frequently-used search results in a single post, and then put a link to that post in your signature. Here's that post. It cuts my load on the server for searches to a quarter of what it was before.

If they really had a server capacity problem, wouldn't they just omit their avatars? I may be wrong, but I believe the graphics require more than everything else combined.
Or maybe they could cut their time spent there down to a mere 18 hours a day, spend the balance making (then sending) money to their favorite entertainment, or some other heroic sacrifice.
