How can someone down load music or a movie from a CD so that it can be displayed on the forum?
Also how do you make a video for places like You Tube?

Sounds like you want to "Rip" the video/sound from a CD/DVD that you own? Not download. What operating system do you use? As for Jewtube, the video you upload will need to be in AVI, Mpeg, Flv or wmv. After you have an account at jewtube, click the upload button and and point it to the video you want to upload.

I don't have any windows boxes at home, but I found a free Ripper for windows at the url below.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/CD-DVD-Rip-Other-Tools/cladDVD-NET.shtml
Example if you go out and rent a DVD that program will allow you to save the movie to your computer. I haven't used that program but I'm sure you can check the file format that you want, wmv, mpg, avi or flv.. Most will all so allow you just to rip the sound/mp3 etc.. As for editing, saving/cutting out certian parts of the movie for upload, you can use windows movie maker, I think it's called..
Hope this helps.
