DAMASCUS, (SANA)-Senior member of Hezbollah for International Relations Nawaf al-Mousawi on Monday praised Syria's stances that support the Lebanese people and resistance in the face of Israeli occupation forces.
Al-Mousawi met teachers and students from Damascus University and referred to Syria's hosting of the Lebanese displaced during the Israeli war against Lebanon in July 2006, saying "the Resistance is proud of its distinguished relations with Syria."
"The battle of the Lebanese resistance is a battle against occupation and hegemony backed by some international superpowers in a bid to make the Arab world a back garden for the Zionist entity," Al-Mousawi said.
He stressed that July war had gained important achievements on the way of the full victory to defeat hostile projects being fabricated against the region and resistance powers.
