CHICAGO (CBS) ― A violent and deadly weekend continues in Chicago. At least 12 people have been shot, two of them killed, since Saturday morning. This comes after at least 20 people were shot, four of them killed, from Friday night through early Saturday.

Notice in your article, the cops mention that this deadly "17-hour window" started on Friday afternoon. You don't want to pass through brown town on a weekend like that.

Does anyone know what magnitude of earthquake those buildings are built to withstand? I think in earthquake prone areas like San francisco they are required to withstand 7.8 earthquakes, but I don't know if they are built to withstand earthquakes in midwestern cities like Chicago.
