Our comic book writers would have loved to make them black originally, but weren't able to due to the racist and anti-Semitc sentiments of the time. They would have loved to make them strong, proud, intelligent African-Americans instead of stuffy disgusting wasps but they weren't able to do it then. On top of Cat Woman, Captain America and Green Lantern also have become black.

Folks, mellow out a bit before you go too far, Nordblod's a nice guy. He's just joking, but for some reason he refuses to use smileys, so sometimes people can't tell. He does the same thing in Swedish forums, but there people are used to it by now. If you read more of him you'll see he is actually rather funny, and he does a good job of constantly mocking anti-Whites in Swedish forums, which we appreciate. And no, he did not ask me to write this. :)
