The numbers are skewed, CAL tweaks the page views, uses bad math, and also likes to brag about how 'fast' upgrading to the 'new' vBulletin software has made the place. CAL, NEWS FUCKING FLASH.... It was a bug fix. That means it fixed problems. In particular, things that allowed people to act malicious and wreak havoc. It did zero jack shit all to speed the board up.
However, what may have sped the board up, was when the hosting company tossed on Apache 1.3.31, and PHP 5 (Which Don Black did NOT do himself, and I'm sure he could never accomplish in his lifetime.... way too complex). The new Zend engine would probably speed it up nicely. Just don't let Don get the credit. I'm sure Don didn't even install vBulletin himself either. Uploading 5 or 6 files to the server would probably be an enormous strain on him. Also, I believe whoever did it forgot to do the necessary intermediate step of upgrading to 3.0.2 first.
No wonder people are having problems over there.

The problem is that it was discussed to death. After I debunked every bit of "evidence" Urbanite brought up, he kept insisting that Peroutka is a Jew.

He starting pulling up records from Dachau showing that two people named Peroutka were held there. After I showed that the records also indicated that one was Polish and one was Czech, but neither were Jews, he changed his tactic and just started demanding that someone prove Peroutka is not a Jew.

Of course, since there's zero evidence Peroutka is a Jew, and Urbanite was the one insisting he is, then the burden of proof is on him. But he offered no proof, just more insinuations. It was getting really old really fast.

I don't think he really cares about Peroutka's ethnicity one way or the other. I think he just doesn't want people to involve themselves in the elections at all, so he launched an attack on one of the few candidates likely to get a lot of WN votes.

The reason VNN discussion is not allowed is because they are afraid all their posters will come here if they know about VNN.
